A Different Route (ASL, One Piece)

2. Not good

'Let me go you big baffoon!' Luffy called to the one holding his arm. Ace and Sabo immediately jumped into action, attacking the three men with their pipes. The man who held Luffy had metal plates with pearls embedded in them covering his entire body which protected him from Luffy's repeated hits. The man with the stripped headband was fighting against Ace and the man with purple hair fought against Sabo.

'Let him go!' Sabo roared trying to hit his opponent again. Sadly the three brothers were wildly outmatched, Luffy was still struggling, Sabo was hit in the face flying back by force and Ace was bashed into the ground. 'You assholes let us go!' Ace said through clenched teeth, his attacker responded by kicking him in the face. 'Don't hurt my brothers! Gomu gomu pistol!' Luffy yelled, hitting the man with the stripped headband in the face. Blood splattered on the ground, the man flew back a few meters.

'Shit! What the hell Gin, you okay?' Luffy's attacker asked looking a little worried. He now held both of Luffy's arms behind his back who was screaming 'Let me go! Let me go! Let me go!'. 'So you're the one with the devil fruit powers, you're pretty strong for a small kid.' the man with the pearls said to Luffy. Gin got back up again 'Yea I'm okay, though that kid packs a mean punch. Let's just get these kids to the captain, Pearl. Oi Ideaman you ready to move?'. Ideaman came back with an unconscious Sabo in his arms, who looked pretty beaten. Seeing their brother like that Luffy and Ace tried to break free again, this resulted in them being hit several more times.

Luffy had a scratch on his right side of his forehead and Ace was bleeding from his head when the three men started to walk towards their captain. 'Sabo please be okay' Luffy whispered still struggling against his captor. Ace's head was pounding like crazy and he was dizzy so fighting wasn't an option anymore. He was surprised Luffy still got some fight in him but was worried for his little brother, he sadly didn't know when to give up. On the way back to the pirate crew Luffy was hit several more times for trying to break free, Luffy just cursed at the men for hurting his brothers. 'Assholes! Cowards, let us go and fight us!'.

'Here we are Don, here are the three brats.' Gin said, throwing Ace on the ground who couldn't move. Luffy and Sabo followed, Sabo was unconscious but Luffy was just scared. Luffy was in pain but because he was made of rubber, most hit didn't work on him. He couldn't break his bones like Ace or Sabo. Both his older brothers couldn't move and since his brothers could handle big allegators like it was nothing this was a very bad sign. He knew that, if there was a chance to escape it was his turn to save his brothers this time. Luffy got into a sitting position and looked around, there were more than a hundred men here. The man in front of him had golden armor on and was just as big as gramps.

Luffy gulped, this looked very bad. 'Hey brat, you're never going to escape. I have five thousand men in my fleet. If you try to run I will hurt your brothers.' Don Krieg said while placing his foot onto Ace's head. 

'No don't hurt him frogface! What do you want?' Luffy started to shake in fear as the realization hit him... five thousand men.. 

'What I want is for you to keep your mouth shut, don't move and your brothers will live. Am I clear?' Don Krieg asked while removing his foot from Ace's face. Luffy nodded silently shaking all over, he grabbed his straw hat and pulled it over his eyes. Escaping was impossible he knew that much.

Don Krieg looked at Gin who was standing behind the boys 'It looks like they tried to fight, if you broke their bones they won't sell for as much.'.

'I know captain but they are surprisingly strong. Especially the one with the straw hat, he's the Devil Fruit kid.' Gin sighed and looking a bit down. 

'Well we may have some time before we find a place to sell them. In the meantime keep them restrained. Keep the one with the Devil Fruit separated from his brothers and keep an eye on him. He is the youngest by the looks of it but make sure he can't use those powers. And don't let these brats become a pain. ' Don Krieg responded turning his back and walking away. 

One man grabbed a hold of Luffy's neck who yelped in fear, his arms were pushed behind his back as someone else tied his hands and feet together. The same happened to Ace and Sabo who were also tied to one tree. Luffy however was brought to the other side of the clearing and tied to a tree there.

Luffy's heart was hammering inside his chest, right now Luffy could still see his brothers but the strange men were making a fire in the middle of the clearing.. With his hand bound behind his back and his feet almost tied to his hands he couldn't move without hurting himself. Also the only reason he stayed upright was because the tied him to the tree behind him. He realized that it was useless right now and decided to get some rest, he just hoped the strange men would give him food at dinner time.

Ace woke up in the most uncomfortable position you could imagen, hands behind his back, feet almost touching his hands and a rope which forced his back into a tree. He looked next to him and saw Sabo in the same position but his head was still hanging to the side. Not conscious, noted. But then he noticed that Luffy wasn't next to him or Sabo and he started to freak out. He struggled against the ropes when one of the men they fought earlier came into view. 

'Oi kid, you keep it up and you will regret it.' Gin said while walking over to Ace. 

'Assholes where is Luffy?!' Ace yelled, not stopping wriggling and struggling to get out. 

Gin called something to his crew member and turned back to Ace, 'If you don't stop we will hurt him boy!'. 

But Ace was in a frenzy, if they killed Luffy he was never going to forgive himself. This was all his fault for not being careful enough. Shit shit shit!

'Aceeee' Luffy yelled Ace immediately looked up seeing Gin holding Luffy by his hair and a man bringing a glowing red sword close to Luffy's neck. 

Ace stopped moving and roared 'Wait! I'll stop don't you dare hurt him!'. 

Gin looked at Don Krieg with a question in his eyes. Don looked at the man holding the glowing sword and grumbled, 'To make them learn who is in charge here, just a bit.'. 

The man brought the back of his sword to the base of Luffy's neck right above his collarbone and pushed it to his skin. Luffy screamed in agony when the blazing hot metal melted his rubbery skin. All Ace could do was scream curses at them while he watched his little brother be tortured. When the men stepped back, he let Luffy go who fell face first to the ground and immediately lost consciousness. Ace's throat was hoarse from all the screaming he had done. Shit, they were in such deep everlasting shit. Ace was so angry he was shaking and he promised himself that once he was old and strong enough, that those three men who just tortured his little brother would pay for it.
