As much as Ace hated to admit it, the Whitebeard pirates were helping the three brothers and hadn't done anything bad these 5 days. Luffy already trusted the Pineapple, who brought them food every day and so did Sabo. Every morning and evening the Pineapple came down with their food, he had also brought few games and books so they wouldn't get bored. While being stuck to the big boat their sail was useless and they didn't have to navigate so they got bored fast, especially Luffy. It was a hot day without any clouds and after a morning of playing games both Ace and Sabo were sleeping on deck without their shirts on. Luffy was still very much bored, wanted to wake his brothers but then he looked up at the big boat. He then started to smile thinking about a new adventure, so Luffy checked if his brothers were really asleep, his smile turning into a wide grin.
Luffy grabbed ahold of the railing of the big boat and shot himself into the air, then he quickly grabbed the biggest mast and glued himself to it so he wouldn't just fall face first onto the deck. Most of the commanders on deck had noticed what Luffy was doing, but some of the lesser ranking pirates had grabbed their weapons thinking Luffy was a cannonball. Whitebeard laughed hard and Luffy had to look down to see the man sitting on his throne and giving him a big smile.
'I'm bored and my brothers are sleeping so I thought I could see this place.' Luffy explained still holding himself to the mast.
'Sure brat, Marco will show you around and you can join us for lunch after.' Whitebeard stated nodding to his oldest son. The man in question was standing below Luffy ready to catch him when he let himself fall to the deck. Luffy looked a bit confused when Marco helped him down but shrugged, he never really understood adults. Marco offered Luffy his hand but he just wanted to walk off on his own, so Marco had to lunge for him to grab the brats hand.
'You're not walking off on your own if you get lost on this ship your brothers will try to kill me yoi.' Marco said, pointing an accusing finger at Luffy. Luffy tilted his head for a second, 'Okay, but I want meat for lunch!'.
'Sure brat! I'll make some specifically for you.' Thatch laughed grabbing the brats hat and pushing it down on his head.
They walked pass the mess hall where dozens of pirates were sitting at tables playing cards or drinking together. Luffy's eyes bulged out of his head by seeing how big the Moby Dick was. The hall was filles with dozens of tables that could seat 10 people. In the back there was a bar that connected to the kitchen, so Luffy could see the cooks working on lunch inside. Marco showed him the kitchen (Marco had to drag Luffy away), the training room, weaponry, small library, den den mushi room and sleeping quarters. Lower ranking pirates shared rooms with six people and commanders had their own rooms. Back at the mess hall, lunch had just started and from inside the kitchen Thatch called, 'Oi Marco, Luffy come here!'.
Luffy ran towards the bar looking in the kitchen and sat down on one of the barstools, Marco following close behind. When Thatch put a big piece of meat in front of Luffy it disappeared in a second, bone and all, Thatch mouth fell open and Marco raised his eyebrows.
'More Breadhead! That was great!' Luffy roared, when a different cook put another piece in front of him (while holding back his laughter) the same happened. Only this time Luffy took the time to fish the bone out of his mouth. After this happened several more times more commanders stood around the young boy, wondering where it all went.
'Doesn't his stomach hurt after eating so much food?' Vista asked no one in particular. 'Shishishishi no, I'm made of rubber.' Luffy grabbed his cheek and stretched it super far in emphasis.
'I forgot, that's how he stole from us.' Izou looked at the kid with amusement but it was Marco who had to ruin the fun, 'Okay that's enough kid, back to the deck before your brothers start to wake up and attack us.'.
