Chapter 4:

It has been quite awhile since I last updated, so, hope you guys still like it.

Alex's POV:

So we finished our food pretty quickly. In the meal, the girls did the talking mostly while I, again, having nothing to say, didn’t say anything. I just nodded or smiled if I was asked.

Damien seemed to be in the silent mode too. He just ate and ate…

When we were all done with our delicious food, Damien the rich boy offered to pay for everything, again.

Before we went out of the restaurant David shouted. “Goodbye! Come again!”

We all said in unison, except for Damien “We will.”

David smiled and winked at me.

He looked soooo cute.

And then we all walked to the parking lot.

Sophie and Mia walked ahead of us and Ben was being pulled by Sophie so he had to walk with her. They were talking about something when Sophie laid her head on Ben’s shoulder. They looked at each other then kissed.

I smiled at them because they looked so happy. Mia was kinda pissed because the two of them left her alone.

“What are you smiling at?” asked Damien.

“Nothing.” I looked at him while my smile grew even wider.

And then he smiled along with me.

“I’m just… kinda jealous… with the two of them.” I said.

“Why?” He asked, still smiling.

“It’s just that they look so happy and… they have each other.” I shrugged.

He shrugged too.

As we continued to walk to Damien’s car, my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket and there was an incoming call from a strange number.

“Hello?” I answered the phone, still walking.

“Oh! Hey! It’s me David.” The familiar voiced from the other side of the line spoke.

“Oh hi!” I smiled when I knew it was him.

“So… why are you calling me? We’ve just walked out of there like 3 minutes ago.” I asked him. Damien probably noticed.

“Well I was afraid that you gave me fake number or something… so I just call to check.” I could just imagine him scratching the back of his head in the restaurant right then.

“And why would I do that?” I laughed at his silliness.

“I don’t know… Incase you don’t like me?” He laughed. His voice sounded so cute when he laughed.

I looked at Damien to check if he was looking and he was. So I turned my head to the other side and answered “Of course I like you! I mean you’re cool.”

“Aww… That is such a relief!”

I couldn’t help but laugh. He was just so cute.

“So anything else you wanna say?” I asked.

“Well, I was thinking… Maybe you’d wanna have coffee with my after school tomorrow? I know a great place near our school. They serve cupcakes with coffee. I swear you’ll love it.” He asked hopefully.

How cute! He asked me out! I am so excited! But I gotta act cool.

“Yeah… Sure. I’m not doing anything after school tomorrow so… yeah, I’d love to.”
