Alex's POV:

After a 20 minutes ride without anyone saying anything we finally reached Damien’s place.

I just couldn’t believe Sophie literally ruined my date with David. I really liked him. He was sooo sweet. And I couldn’t believe Damien just let her manipulate him. He just does whatever Sophie asks him to? I really thought he was better than that.

He didn’t even take me home to get some clothes for our sleepover or to ask for Charlotte’s permission. I didn’t dare to ask him because he seemed mad and… I was mad too. So I just ignored him and stayed silent.

Anyways, back to his place. Or should I say ‘his palace’.

His house was huge with a giant pool. He parked right in front of the doors then threw the car key to the house keeper.

“Welcome home, Mr. Sanders!” said the house keeper, who was an old man, probably about 60 years old.

“Don’t call me Mr. Sanders. Mr. Sanders is my father.” He didn’t even bother to look at him.

“Yes, sir.” The house keeper nodded.

Damien strode into the house, and I practically ran after him.

Gosh this place is huge.

I kept running after him but still didn’t forget to admire the house. Everything looked so elegant.

We reached the living room. The whole gang was there, Sophie, Mia, Ben and Eli. They were all minding their own business.

“Oh hey! You’re here!” Sophie shouted, smiling brightly at me.

Seeing Sophie’s face really made my blood boils.

But I waved and the others turned their gaze to me, giving me smiles and waves.

I walked to Sophie and pulled her to another room where we could talk alone.

“What? What is it?” she seemed confused.

“What is it?” I mocked her sarcastically. “What it is, is that you totally ruined my date with David!”

“What? How the hell did I ruin it?” she seemed surprised.

“Thanks to your awesome idea of this fucking sleepover, Damien literally dragged me out of the café to take me here and ruined our date.” I said, half screaming.

“He did?”

“Well, he didn’t, but he almost.” I shrugged. “Not the point. The point is it is all because of you. Me and David were talking like for hours and we had lots of things in common and… I really liked him.”

“Aww… you did?” she awed.

“Yeah!” I shrugged, feeling more calmed.

“But why did Damien have to take you here right after I told him about the sleepover? When I told him to pick you up I didn’t meant right away. I mean, it’s still afternoon. You don’t have to be here for a few more hours.”

“I don’t know!” I shrugged. “He just seemed really pissed when he found out I was with David and insisted that I go with him right away. He even said something happen to you so I had to go with him. I was really afraid that something bad happened to you.”

“Well, that’s odd!” she squinted her eyebrows. “I have no idea what’s going on with him.” She shrugged.

“What are you two doing? C’mon, we’re going out.” Ben suddenly appeared behind us.
