So here is chapter 8! Hope y'all enjoy it!

Alex’s POV:

“So? How was last night? Did you guys do anything?” Mia asked, wiggling her eyebrows as I, Sophie and her were walking towards our lockers.

“What do you mean?” I asked, still walking.

“She meant: did you guys ‘do’ anything?” Sophie said, putting the quotation marks in the word ‘do’.

I looked at her in a ‘duh’ way. “We did nothing but sleeping, of course.”

“Aw.” Mia pouted, looking disappointed.

“Well, what did you and Eli do last night?” I asked sarcastically.

There was a long pause and she just blushed.

“Ewww… don’t tell me anything about it.” I shuddered.

Mia blushed even more.

“What about you? You seem terribly quiet today.” I turned to Sophie.

“What? Oh. Nothing. Just a little bit tired from last night.” She shrugged.

“Ew. I don’t even want to know why you are tired.” I shook my head and they both chuckled.

“And why would you want me and Damien ‘do’ anything? You want your brother to be gay?” I turned back to Mia.

“I dunno.” She shrugged. “I’m not sure but… maybe.”

I rolled my eyes.

“He’s your brother and you know he’s as straight as a pole.”

“Well, you can never know for sure.” She shrugged.

“How are things between you and David Dawson?” Sophie asked.

“Things were perfect until you decided to ruin our date by your spontaneous idea of a sleepover.” I half screamed at her face.

“I’m sorry, hun.” She pouted.

I glared at her and we kept walking until we’d reached our lockers.

Mia and Sophie were doing their make-ups while I was waiting for them.

“You know even IF Damien was gay, he would never be attracted to me.” I brought it up again.

“Why not?” Sophie asked, taking her lipstick out of her purse. “You’re pretty hot yourself.”

“Me? Hot?” I chuckled. “I’m pretty sure I’m the exactly the opposite of ‘hot’.”

“Urgh! Why are you so insecure about yourself?” Mia grabbed my shoulders. “You are beautiful just the way you are.”

I looked at her in wide eyes.

Wow, I never thought she could be so… wise. I must admit I did think she was just a dumb blonde but she’s obviously not.

“Yes, you are.” I was startled by Damien who turned up behind my back.

Mia released me and got back to her makeup-ing. I looked at Damien, who was standing so close that I had to throw my head back to look at him. You know? Because he was super tall.

He smirked at me and put his arm on my shoulders, pulling my closer by his side. And then he turned to the girls, who were still doing their make-ups.

“So… how about a party tonight?” he suggested.

“Urgh! Damien…” Mia turned to Damien but then looked at me, and then looked back at him, and then me, and then him.

She was probably just as confused as I was about Damien holding me so close beside him.
