The Weeknd - The Hills
Soldier's Broken Love
''Hey man.'' A friend of Troy's walked into the couple's house as Troy opened the door wider for him to walk in.
They went for a hug, and you could tell that they've missed each other.
Behind the man, who's name was David, was his wife who was nervously standing there as she waited to be spoken to.
Amanda realized she felt a bit uncomfortable and could tell she was a shy type. ''Hi, I'm Amanda. You're David's wife, Melissa right?''
Melissa nodded with a smile, and placed her hand out for Amanda to shake. Instead of shaking it, she pulled Melissa towards her and hugged her to ease her nerves.
She didn't know why she was so nervous, her being a soldier as well as David, you'd expect her to be confident. David was, but something about Melissa had Amanda keeping an eye on her, for some reason.
Amanda didn't miss the look that Troy gave Melissa as they saw each other, his smile dropped. But Amanda shrugged the thought off.
Troy visibly gulped, ''Troy.'' He greeted, and Melissa returned a tight smile. ''Melissa.'' She replied back.
Amanda had thought it would be a good idea for Troy invite a friend round, so they could have a normal day together. As much as Troy didn't want too, he just didn't want to see that disappointed look on Amanda's face.
David knew that Amanda was going to be there, so he invited his wife, Melissa.
''I hope you don't mind me bringing Melissa here, it's just I knew Amanda would be here, so I thought it would be a good idea to bring Melissa so they could get to know each other.'' Melissa laughed softly but nervously. Amanda knew when someone didn't want to be where they were.
But Amanda didn't want to judge, knowing that David and Melissa had both came back from different wars, they would obviously be nervous around about their surroundings. But David seemed mentally stronger then Melissa, or something was just bugging her about either Amanda or Troy.
''Don't worry, it's not a problem.'' Amanda kept her eyes on Melissa, who was looking on the ground with her fingers tangled together as she played with her nails.
Troy had stayed silent, Amanda thought it was him being his usual self. Little did she know.
''How have you been man, it's been a while.'' Amanda's eyes went to David who seemed happy to see Troy.
She smiled at their friendship, you could tell that they were close.
Troy cleared his throat after a few slow seconds, ''Yeah I know.''
