The pink room-chapter 10

Drew's POV

"Alright, drew. Welcome to the pink room. "

Jake opened the door towards the pink room and entered it. He stood aside to let me in, holding the door out for me like a gentleman would.

I looked around the room. He had many designs of his clothes that I saw in his book out on mannequins and well-made. Most of them were dresses and the last one I saw on his book, a sapphire-violet dress covered in rows of stars and a black rim around the top of the lower part of the skirt. (The waistline basically). The dress was in a mannequin across the room. I walked towards it.

Jake followed behind closely.
"That one's not finished yet. "
"This dress-... It looks different than all the other dresses. And it feels familiar... Were you inspired to make this dress? "
I looked at him closely. He faced the floor like a fool. A light red hue of blush appeared on his cheeks.

"I- uhm-this dress made me think of Hailey. "

He said, as he slowly walked away from me to the other side of the room, clearly trying to hide that he was blushing.

"Oooh! You like her? I knew it! You've been talking about her quite alot back before your accident"I smiled contently but frowned immediately when I saw he's frown.

"So that means back then that Sean must have known her too! He lied to me? What the hell-"

"No no Jake you only told me last time because I was your best friend-"

"Sean told me you were a bully to me back then. Now you're telling me you're my best friend back then? So who is right? You or him? Who were you to me back then? "

I froze. Unable to say anything further. It was just like my mind went blank. What do I say to him? He can't find out the truth. But I can't lie to him either. What would Sean do?

"Are you gonna tell me the truth or are you gonna lie? "

Jake asks. His face scrunched up in a frown. I bet he really hates being lied to. Poor Jake. I'm sorry. I kept a promise to Sean. And I have to fulfill it.

"Sean is right I was a bully to you back then and actually you didn't exactly talk about her at all to me I just heard you saying to Sean about Hailey. That's all I'm sorry I lied. I hope you can forgive me cause I really want things to go back to normal for us. Please forgive me. "

"So Sean DID LIE??? WHAT THE HELL? WHY? DO YOU KNOW WHY? "

"Jake please calm down. I don't know why he lied. Probably to protect you or something but please calm down. I'm getting a bit scared. "

Hearing that word he immediately lowered his volume. His face softens and he looked at me. He put his hand on his face, trying to calm himself down. I took a sigh of relief. I was glad he managed to calm down.

"I'm sorry drew. I was just so mad and tired at being lied to. And I was mad at Sean not you but because of that I hurt you. It's not your fault. I'm sorry. I really am. "

He looked up at me and I smiled. His apology was genuine I know. I could see the sincerity in his eyes. The desperation to make amends. I nodded my head indicating that I forgave him. And he smiled back at me.

And for the first time in a while. We had a nice, touching moment. It helped me feel at ease. Unfortunately it didn't last for long.

"DREW! WHERE ARE YOU? COME OUT NOW! "

My eyes opened wide as I heard zoey's voice from a mile away. Jake raised an eyebrow at the voice.

"Who's that? "
"Uhm-"
"DREW! cOmE OuT ComE OuT wHeVeR YoU aRe. "

Zoey creepily said as she was clearly trying to find me. I really wonder what was wrong this time. Oh wait oh yeah I remember. I went to her house and took all her stuff that I bought for her away and returned them after our fight two days ago. She probably found out and that's why she's mad. Makes perfect sense. Sigh. What a drama queen girlfriend I have.

"She's my girlfriend. Also another person who bullied you but I'll talk her out if it don't worry.  And she's probably mad cos I returned her stuff that I bought for her"
I replied clearly annoyed of hearing her voice.

"Are you gonna be ok? And why did you do that to your girlfriend? Don't you love her? "

" I dont exactly love her. She broke my heart. But don't worry!I'll break up with her soon enough. I just need some time to take revenge on her for what she did to me. So I'm gonna make amends with her and later on break her heart. This is only the first part of the plan. I'll explain later. "

I said as I left Jake in the pink room by himself. I walked towards Zoey and she screamed at me.

"DID YOU RETURNED MY BAGS? "

"Who else would it be? ".I said, clearly unamused.

Her face scrunched up in anger.

" THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? "

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? You cheated on me. You said he was a friend and it was all just a misunderstanding. I clearly saw you kissed him about a week ago. "

She immediately kept quiet as she realised why I did this. She opened her mouth to speak.

"Drew it's a misunderstanding. Y'know me I would never cheat on you. I-I love you"

Zoey said as she neared me. I took a step back.
"Then why was he kissing you? " I said as I knew she was going to lie again. Just like every other time.

"He was forcing me, drew! You believe me right? Drewybear? "

Her eyes turned wide as she pouted, Clearly pleading with me. I didn't exactly believe her but I have to make it feel like I believe her. To get revenge. I want her to feel the exact same feeling when she broke my heart. And with that.

"Of course I believe you. I'm sorry for returning your bags why don't we go after school and buy you new ones? Hmm? "

An act won't be an act much longer. I just need to wait until after school to put this plan into action. Just a few more hours and she'll be out of my life. Just a few more hours and I'll see that heartbroken face of hers. I'll have to wait for a few more hours.

Author's note:hello! So spicy aint it? Heh! Sry I had to go on another cliffhanger on this one 😏I'm sure you're dying to know what's gonna happen next and what Drew's plan is. Oh man I promise after next chapter you're gonna feel so satisfied because Zoey is finally getting karma yes! She certainly is! Unfortunately you have to wait for that so I'm sorry I have to end in this note but this chapter is already so long but meh. Oh also Rosy announced a release for episode 11. Eek! I'm not sure when yet but I know we will get in July maybe before the 20th? Oh man I'm super excited about that! I can't wait! Oh well anyway adios! 👋👋👋
