kidnapped? -chapter 16

That voice. It can't be. Our relationship already ended. She would never do this. Would she?

"I know you can hear me, drew. And yes I am the one who hit jake with my car. Now that I found out you don't love me at all, I shall kill you. Just be happy these are your last moments you spend with me". Zoey said as she approached me.

I felt a hand on my shoulder which I assume it's hers. She moved her fingers towards my face and took of my blindfold. The light shines on my eyes making me squint as I try to adjust to everything I see around me.

" well are you surprised? In just a few minutes you'll be dead. Any last words? " she said as she motioned towards her father to shoot me.

"Wait! Can I at least say something to my friends? " I asked pleadingly.

She looks down at me. Zoey grabbed her phone, called Lia for me and held to phone at arm's length.

"Lia? You're at the hospital right? "

"Yes I am, drew are you okay? We heard you scream and it seems like you need help? "

"How's Jake? Is he ok? " I asked her.

"He survived thank god. But do you need help? Pls answer me! " Lia's voice came through worriedly.

"No I don't need help but make sure Jake will be ok by the time I come back. H M I A Z P ".I said as Zoey ended the call all of a sudden.

" you are done. Right now we are going leave you alone for a while as I decided I don't want to kill you yet. " she said as she left the room.

Zander's pov

"H M I A Z P. 'Help me I at zoey's place'. He needs help. " Lia reassured herself and tried to convince the others.

"What is with the letters tho? How would you know what he wants? " I asked.

"Drew has told the group about this before. Everyone knows except for Zoey. Because she was out with Lawrence that day. Just in case something happens drew has codes to say to us in case he needs help.we have to help him, this just proves that Zoey has actually gone crazy and we need to make sure drew is safe. We have to call the police. " Lia shouted frantically at us.

I looked at her unsure of certain things. I may be happy that Jake is ok now although he is unconscious but he's alive. But we need to help drew.
What the hell is happening recently? I used to hate this guy and now I'm caring about him and doing stuff for him? Whatever he has become a good person. And I need to accept that.

"I'll call the police. ". I said as I whipped out my phone and dialed 911.

Jake's pov

Everything was dark. I couldnt see a thing. Then a light shone in my face. An angel came out of the light. It really seems like an angel, having wings and a small halo on top of it and the angel gave her hand towards me. I stared at it for a good 5 seconds before looking back at her eyes.

She saw the hesitation in me and put her arms around me, engulfing me into a hug.

" do you still want to live? "She asked as she let go of me.

I hesitated again as I looked towards what I have. Everyone will be sad to see me go. I'm pretty sure Hailey is already upset I'm at this state. Everyone still wants me.

" what am I made for? "I asked her as she smiled softly at me.

" close your eyes " she says.

I did as I was told as all my memories came back to me. Every single moment of my childhood, the memories of me and Hailey. The games I played with drew, it all came back to me.

I opened my eyes and saw that I was confined in the hospital room. The angel was gone but Hailey was there, crying beside my bed.

"Hailey? Why are you crying? " I asked softly.

She heard my voice and immediately looked up. She quickly hugged me as tears came out from her eyes.

"You're a-awake! Jake's a-awake!" She shouted across the room as people outside came to the room, everyone was there, the club, daisy, Lia, Liam and Henry, everyone accept for drew.

"Where's drew? " I asked, expecting an answer.

"He's been kidnapped. But don't worry the police are on the case. " Lia said to me as the silence around me died down.

The police came in as they acknowledged us that they have found drew.

"We are losing him! We need more nurses, hurry! " a nurse shouted in the hallway as we saw a hospital bed being pulled into the emergency room.

I caught a glimpse of his aurburn hair and things worried me immediately. Everyone gave worried glances at me as my breathing quickened. I looked towards Hailey at this time of need but it was too late as I broke down.

Recently I haven't been feeling myself lately. Yesterday I got most of my marks from my tests that I took and half of them I failed and now I feel like shit. I've been crying all night yesterday for I don't know why. Maybe because I only have a few weeks left before my big exam I need to take and also partly because my teacher lectured me about getting an f. I was literally one mark away from passing and I feel like shit cos he lectures me like that. Well anyway this chapter is getting too long. This has reduced my stress a bit so i'll be fine no worries. Adios! 👋👋👋
