It was Friday evening, and Evie was sitting with Bree at Donald's desk, eating some popcorn, while they watched the first Avengers movie. Evie scrunched up her nose in disgust as Chase started laughing maniacally. Bree huffed, pausing the movie and pinning in her chair to face her younger brother.
"Okay, what is with all the happy, squeaky hamster noises?" She asked. Evie then sat up straight, gasping. "Oh, my god! He must have finally grown a chest hair!" She dramatically, yet sarcastically, exclaimed. Bree laughed, while Chase rolled his eyes, sending his brother's girlfriend a glare. "For your information...I grew two" He stated, holding up two fingers, with a proud smile.
"Wow. How impressive." She replied, rolling her eyes and leaning back into her chair. "Actually, this is a little something I like to call Adam's payback." Chase spoke. "For what?" Evie asked. "Don't you remember what happened last Thursday?" Chase questioned. Evie looked up, biting the inside of her cheek in thought. "Hmm...Oh! I remember teaching Adam how to play monopoly correctly." She said. Chase rolled his eyes.
"Not that!" He hissed. Bree then laughed, nudging Evie's arm. Evie looked over, before smiling in realization. "Oh, that." She laughed, thinking back to what happened in the living room...
Last Thursday
Adam, Bree, Evie and Leo all stood by the couch, looking at the kitchen counter. "Adam, there is no way you can clear that counter." Leo tasted. "I can reach that easy." Adam gloated. Evie nodded, lacing her fingers with her boyfriend's. "It's true. I've seen him do it." She said. Just then, Chase entered the house. "Hey. What're you guys talkin' about?"
