Evie and Leo walked into the kitchen, each carrying a bucket and wearing yellow rubber gloves and for some reason, Leo had a snorkel on. Leo set his bucket down, lifting his goggles up and removing the snorkel from his mouth. Evie just shook her head, placing her bucket down as well.
"Ugh. Okay. Toilet's clean, bathtub's clean, sink is clean. And may I just say, you people are disgusting." Leo said. "Yeah. After seeing that bathroom...I'm glad I have my own." Evie shuddered. Tasha laughed. "Here's your chore money." She said, holding out seven dollars to each of them. Evie and Leo smiled, pulling their gloves off and taking the money.
Evie squealed. "Now I can get my nails done and get Adam that big furry hat he's been wanting to scare animals!" She exclaimed. Leo gave her a weird look. "Really? That's the one thing Adam wants?" Leo asked. Evie nodded. "That and a bacon backpack." She said. Leo just gave her a judgmental look. "Don't judge my baby." She muttered. "Sweet! I have enough money to see the new Pig Zombie movie and get a t-shirt. Pig Zombie: Cruise ship massacre in 3-D. Hungry hogs on the high seas." Leo said.
"Leo, I don't want you waisting your brain, your money or your time on that trash. You are not going to see Pig Zombies. End of discussion." Tasha stated, making her way over to the couch. "Well, but-" "Uh-uh." "Can I-" "Mmmmrph!" "Glad to see we were able to talk this out." Leo sighed.
Evie quietly laughed, shoving her money in her pocket. "Leo, I know you want to be a superhero, but that's the worst costume ever." Adam laughed as he and his siblings entered the room. "I was cleaning the bathroom, so I could get some money to see my favorite movie. But someone, who shall remain nameless," Leo turned to look at his mother, who smiled and waved.
