"Bae." I tapped Giselle, who was laying in my lap playing GTA.
"Hm?" She asked, not paying me any attention as she tried to avoid the cops. Three stars flashed in the top-right corner as she took them on a high-speed chase.
"I'm going out tonight?" I intended to tell her, but it came out more as a question. "With Lo and them."
"Okay." G's eyebrows furrowed as she sat up. I didn't know whether it was because of the game or because of this new information she was being told. "Where y'all going?" Being the last time she pulled up, I was skeptical about letting her know. Last time she spared me the embarrassment this time she might not be as generous.
"Phat Katz or Karma, I don't know which one yet." Choosing to leave out that we might be going to both, not wanting to push my luck. I really wasn't the outside type, now all of a sudden I'll be everywhere. That shit was going to sound suspicious as hell.
"How you making plans and don't know where you're going?" Beyoncé asked, pausing the game, turning to look at me.
