"Why can't we just kill Rah ass first?" Quan asked, stretched out in the backseat like we weren't on a whole drill right now.

"Uncle Prince." Gucci stated plainly. The man may not have been a good father to the boy, but he's been a good man to me and my brother. I respected him enough to let him die before his kids.

"Does he even like the nigga?" Quan snickered.

"He loves him." I chuckled. Raheem was just upset because his daddy wouldn't let him run behind him playing gangster.

Uncle Prince tried to keep him from that lifestyle, and he did so by rarely being home. The first of many mistakes he made with the boy. Don't get me wrong, he never missed a Sunday dinner with them and made most of their extracurricular activities. It was just Monday through Saturday, Raheem had enough time to explore exactly what his daddy was trying to keep him away from.

"I think he loves selling drugs more." My brother spoke ready to gamble that fact.

"Oh, he definitely does." The man loved selling drugs more than anything in this world. When his ex-wife asked him to choose between her and drug dealing, I don't think he even gave it a second thought. Even in his last days, his drugs were his main concern.

"Glad I never had a daddy." Quan let out in relief.

"Right, imagine having one and that nigga only loves you a little bit." Gucci agreed, making me furrow my eyebrows.

"Damn, y'all don't see me right here?"

"Damn, I forgot you even had a daddy." Quan sat up in the seat. "My fault gang, that nigga been gone for so long." That's usually what happens when you get sentenced to life in prison.

"You don't want to visit him?" My brother asked, making me look at him for a second.

"For what?" I continued looking out the window as we waited for the man to come get his son.

"He might be a changed man." Gucci insisted.

"He might not." Looking down at my watch, I shrugged. "I think that's him." We were parked on the adjacent side of the girl's house, blending in with all the other cars that were parallel parked on the side of the road.

"It is." Quan confirmed as we all looked out the window at an all blue dodge challenger that pulled into the driveway. I knew he would have her waiting, it was nine thirty at night.

The girl stepped outside with their son in her hand and a bag on her shoulder, keeping the man from coming inside. They exchanged a few heated words before he went to put his kid in the car.
