Chapter 2

{DANNIE}

I ran up the stairs as fast as possible just to avoid any more questions from my mum. I grabbed the door handle and rushed to my bed, I heard my mother pleading for me to come down but I ignored it and plugged my headphones in and started on my math's homework.

I was totally done with all my homework and it was already 5.30 PM well it's almost dinner time baby!

I guess the Hood's were already home 'cause they've been here since 3.00 PM. I was about to walk downstairs when I heard a knock on my door.

"Uuhm...come in?" I said a little confused. The door opened and it revealed no other than Calum fucking Hood. I groaned and threw a pillow at his head which he gladly threw back.

"What the hell are you doing in here?" I asked in an angry voice, I sat up straight instead of laying down and he sat next to me.

"I was bored." He shrugged like we never even fought in the first place.

"Just to let you know. I don't like you Calvin." I said, he looked me dead in the eye and I knew he was angry at me for calling him Calvin.

"My.name.is.Calum." He said calmly but through gritted teeth.

"Don't care." I said while turning my head. It stayed silence for the remaining of the time which was actually nice since I almost puked at hearing his voice.

"Do you fight much?" He asked out off the blue.

"Excuse you?" I said my head snapping at his direction.

"Well I mean your mum said it like 'did you fight again?' So I thought that you'd fight much." He shrugged again, I was about to say something I knew I'd regret until he spoke up. "Thanks for not snitching me by the way." He said while winking and walked out off my room again.

Was I seriously considering telling him about her and the bullies?

I made a mental note to myself. I was about to walk downstairs until I got a text from Kane saying that he'd pick me up. I grabbed my coat and heeded downstairs. I was about to walk out until my mum called for me.

"DANNIELA? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?" She yelled from the kitchen.

"GOING OUT!" I quickly said before running outside. Don't get me wrong my mum would've let me go anyway but I'm not risking taking Hood with me. I waited like five minutes until I heard a honk and saw a black car nearing me.

"Yo Charming get in!" Mike yelled, I hopped in and we drove off.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Pizza Hut." Kane stated.

"Yup, and we're going shopping." Mike said.

"Shopping?" I laughed confused.

"Yeah y'know for prom?" He said.

"I'm not going to prom." I stated being my stubborn self.

"Yes you are. We're going shopping for you young lady and that's torture so you better put on a smile, wether it's fake or not . You're going to try out dressed even if we need to drag your lazy ass across the whole mall, and last but not least you're going to fucking enjoy it." He said in a firm voice I gulped and nodded repeatedly.

"Good, now let's get our tummies full of the yumminess from the holy food. Pizza!" He said while running like a kid. Kane and me laughed at his excitingness and we jogged towards him.

"Mike sometimes I really think you're a kid man." Kane said while laughing at his face stuffed full with pizza.

"Gotta agree with Johnson on this one big guy." I laughed, he shrugged and ate further like nobody was watching. We ordered some pizza for ourselves too until I heard all kinds of laughs and giggles from behind me.
