The fucking hot water

The fucking hot water. It was out. Again.

Chuuya cursed angrily under his breath, running his hand under the ice cold shower stream.

He was in a bad mood. Then again, wasn't he always?

When the water finally gained some semblance of warmth, Chuuya was quick to jump in and wash as fast as possible, but of course, the water ran cold again halfway through. He ended up freezing anyway.

Annoyed, and still cold, he threw a hoodie on over his shirt and grabbed his bag.

Chuuya didn't like summer classes. They made him feel dumb and powerless. It wasn't his fucking fault some of the classes weren't his strong suites! Being in summer school with all the other idiots who failed a couple classes was less than fun, but it was his life, unfortunately. He was only nineteen. If he didn't want to fail college and go nowhere in life, he had to put up with it.

He grabbed a Red Bull and chugged a couple drinks before leaving the dorm. At least he had his own dorm now. Having roommates was also not fun.

Never again, he had vowed.

The fresh air was cool in Chuuya's lungs as he walked across campus. It wasn't sickeningly hot that day, for a change. A little breeze blew across the paths, and rustled the leaves in the trees. Chuuya tucked a messy, windswept lock of hair out of his face. No matter how much he brushed it (which wasn't that much), it always ended up looking like he'd survived a hurricane.

He was early to his first class. The lecture hall was average size for natural history, and Chuuya took his seat quietly, towards the middle. There was no way in hell he'd sit in the front, and he would've sat in the back to disappear, but as it turned out, since no one sat that far up, he'd only be noticed more. Middle was safest.

Safe if that idiot hadn't come along...

"Chuuya!" a delighted voice called, and Chuuya felt his shoulders being grabbed roughly from behind.

He made a sound that sounded like an angry cat and shoved the other man off. Dazai just grinned.

"We're in natural history class together!" Dazai exclaimed.
