Chuuya had always prided himself on his handwriting. Sure, it was scribbly and messy as hell to others, but to him, it made perfect sense. He thought it looked more interesting, and the letters were pretty uniform.

He found himself wondering what Dazai would think of it as he wrote up a passage for English. He reminded himself that he should not care what the other man thought, but regardless, his mind still drifted to him. It had been doing that an awful lot lately. It made Chuuya uneasy.

Deciding to take a little break from English, Chuuya stood up and stretched his arms above his head, yawning.

While his dorm's kitchen was tiny, it had everything he needed, and he could sit at the table to study, so Chuuya appreciated it. He began slowly making himself a cup of green tea before sitting back down at the table.

He wondered what time Dazai would show up to study. He and the brunette had only agreed on Sunday afternoon, not on a certain time in particular.

Chuuya had suggested Saturday at first, but Dazai had a volunteer shift. Now that Chuuya thought about it, it had been Saturday night when he had first met Dazai.

A week with this idiot, I suppose.

A knock on the door startled Chuuya out of his thoughts, nearly making him spill his tea mug.

"Shit!" he hissed aloud, jolting up from the table and leaving his cup behind.

Looking down, he realized he was still in his pajamas, and that was surely Dazai at the door.

Cursing again, he ran to his room. He couldn't let the other man see him like this!

Chuuya threw on the first t-shirt and pair of jeans he could find and rushed to the door, throwing it open and nearly smacking Dazai in the face.

"Geez, someone's in a rush. It took you a minute, huh? Were you on the toilet or sumn?" Dazai asked, a teasing smile on his face.

"I was not on the toilet," Chuuya said impatiently, face burning.
