A Friday breeze relaxed her nerves as her gaze landed down at a boy as he played tennis at the school ground with his friends, Alleya's heart screamed in excitement faster as his laugh curled her lips into a smile. She was lucky to see him after all these years. She was surprised when he still managed to remember her, but she was also grateful enough for that. She let out a sigh as her cheeks grew warm. Blushing like crazy as his laugh felt like a beautiful song in her ears...
She noticed his gaze as she kept staring, his dark eyes felt like it was only filled with darkness, however, they never fail to make her stare at them for eternity if he'd let her, the sun's graceful light shone upon his dark brown skin, his misty hair, it was all very majestic to her. And she must admit, he was quiet an attractive guy, it was no question why many girls fell for him. And if she does manage to fall for him, he would probably see her like any other girls. But it doesn't matter now, does it? She knows her fate and it's not going to be in his arms. Even though she had daydreamed of what it feels to be in his arms, feeling his warmth, just a friendly hug would make her feel happy and satisfied. Well, seems like she's simping again. But then again, she could only daydream. She was already trembling about asking him to be her partner in their prom, how could she confess... No, she wasn't going to confess. It would only waste her breath and words. It's best to stay from afar and admire him and cheer for him in every achievement he accomplishes.
She waves at him, smiling though there was a tiny hint of sadness.
He watched Alleya wave at him with a smile. He waves back before focusing again...

After school, Alleya walks to her apartment as usual. Her brother Miguel, couldn't walk with her since he needed to practice late for the basketball club after being absent for a few days.
As she made her way to her apartment, she noticed the new bookstore that just opened yesterday. She took a moment to think, tomorrow was Saturday. She went inside the bookstore as her eyes lit up in excitement. Greeted by a pretty lady, she then goes to the Romance Novels Section. A shelf where she could finally see what she liked.
Looking up, a book caught her eye, with such lovely design and a cute title, she reached for the book. S he almost fell from reaching out for the book but she didn't fall. An arm wrapped around her waist from behind as his other hand reached for the book she aimed for. A dark skinned boy with a black masked, he spoke. "Are you okay?" His voice sent goosebumps around her body as her face went straight up red. "Fred, thanks..." "Don't mention it." He helps her stand up as he then hands her the book. "Are you buying this book also?" She asked. "Yeah, but it's fine. There's still a few copies." He muttered as his cold gaze fades into a soft, warm gaze... Then, he took a copy and went to another section after waving. She felt a little disappointed as she sees him go, however, she feels like had no right to feel that way...
As Alleya paid for the books she bought, Fred waited for her outside...
Alleya finally closed the door of the bookstore. "Done?" Fred asked. Alleya nodded, "Alright, hold on, let's go there for a minute, I wanna buy something." He said as Alleya then nodded in response... "Are you in a hurry?" He asked once more, "Uh-well, yeah, I'm worried that it might get pretty late..." "It'll be quick, I promise." "Alright..."
Going inside the convenience store, Fred quickly goes to a fridge on the further side of the store. Then, he goes to the counter and places two Boba Teas... As he paid, the cashier lady seemed to have recognized him... "Excuse me... You're F-Fred, right?" "Hm? Yeah, why?" The lady handed him the Boba Teas... Then, Fred took them and placed them on the other side of the counter, he seemed to prepare something, separating some of the books he bought and the two Boba Teas...
"Excuse me, are you in a hurry, I kinda want to ask something..." The lady said...
"I am in a hurry actually, maybe ask me next time." He muttered before exiting the store as he held two bags...
"Hey! Sorry, did you wait for too long?" "No, it's alright... But you know... That lady really looked like she was about to ask you something important..." He raised a brow, "Me? Why? You said you were in a hurry, I didn't want to make you waste your time on waiting for me outside the store..." He hands her a bag. "H-huh? What's this?" She asked as she accepted the bag. "Consider it as a gift from me." He shot her a smile. Opening the bag, there was Boba Tea, and three more romance novels. How bold of him... She thought as she blushes slightly. "Thanks..." "You're welcome... You know, it's pretty late..." He said. She looks up as she sees the sky turning dark... "It's so cloudy... What time is it?" She asked as he looks at his phone after hearing her. "It's 6:14 pm." He puts his phone back to his pocket as he took out an umbrella from his own bag, it looked like he just bought it. He opened the umbrella. "It's obvious that it'll rain soon, and since it's pretty late. I'll walk you home. Are you alright with that?" He asked with politeness filled in his voice. "That's alright with me... Thanks in advance." He nods in return. As expected, it did rain. She leads him to her apartment as he protects both of them against the rain...While heading to her apartment... "Have you thought about what to wear for the upcoming prom?" He asked all of a sudden.. "Oh, well... Not yet... I was thinking of shopping for one tomorrow, me and my friends..." "I see, so it's a girl's shopping day." She nods at his statement. "Well, you may already know about this. But I'm quiet busy... So I was wondering, since you're going on a shopping spree tomorrow with your girlfriends. Can you buy me a pair of gloves? I'll pay you, I promise. I need it for my performance for the prom." He said as his grip on the umbrella handle tightened. "Oh.. but the size..." He chuckled at her response. "Just give them this... Hold on.." He stopped as he pulled out a card from his wallet... "Here, I'm quiet the kind of person who likes to wear gloves often... My hands gets pretty sweaty..." He chuckles once more as he hands her the card. She took the card and placed it in her skirt pocket... "O-okay, I'll make sure to return it to you..." Her words somehow made him smile. "Alright, thanks."
After a while... "Ah, we're here..." She said... "You know... It's raining pretty hard..." He muttered. Was he plotting something? "Can I stay here until the rain slows a little?" Those words and his tone made her shiver a little, she wasn't scared... Just surprised. "Oh, alright... Would you like something to drink?" "We can drink the Boba Tea together if you're okay with it..." He smiled politely. She flinched at his words, what was wrong with her? He was just being friendly.
He was really shy, but he needed to be brave. If he wants to get closer to her, he needs to have courage. As they sat down together outside her door, watching the moon as the rains sound made them feel at ease... drinking Boba together... What else could go wrong?
Everything was quiet but there was no sign of awkwardness... Then... All of a sudden, she asked him a question. "So... How's your practice going?" "It's alright, we're doing good." "Okay... I see..."
.......
"You know... You're really pretty..." He said with a soft smile, he takes off his mask... For the first time, she saw his face as he drank his Boba. With such rosy lips touching the straw, her heart beats doubled its speed. He was gorgeous, she knew that and her eyes locked on his face... With eyes widened... She couldn't help herself... Noticing she was staring at his face, he couldn't control himself and looked away quickly with his face fully red... "Is there something on my face?" He said as an excuse... "No... You're just... really handsome!!" She said... then she shrank in embarrassment... He was astonished but after seeing how she hid her face with her hands... He chuckled, he places down his Boba and holds her hands, slowly exposing her flushed face, his eyes warmly smiled and stared at her, full of affection. Sweetly and softly, he spoke to her, "Thank you..." He stared at her dark brown eyes... he looked like he was staring at the most precious thing in the world...
With a swift motion, he pulls her close with his hand on the right side of her head, kissing her head gently... The smell of fragrant shampoo still remained as he smiled... Leaving her stunned at that moment...
