𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝?.. yeah i know i'm shocked too, Berlin asked me out last night! i guess the feelings i had for him were very much mutual.

i'll give you the run down on what went on, apparently our moms and Joe were in on the plan.

so the four of us had dinner together then what i thought was a 'last minute plan' we decided to go see the Hollywood sign at night.

i was super down to go because i had told Berlin when we first met that i've always wanted to see it even when i lived in Long Island.

so we went there and went on a little hike and when we were near the sign, our moms stayed back a little bit and pulled their phones out which i assumed they wanted a photo of the sign itself.

Berlin decided to walk behind me while covering my eyes with his hands, guiding me to the top. when he removed his hands, there were rose petals on the ground that spelled out "will you be my girlfriend?"

i cried and obviously said yes and everybody cheered including Joe who came out of no where, i'm gonna take a guess and say he put the petals down for Berlin.

and here we are today.

i'm someones girlfriend.. ain't that crazy?

"good morning Berlin's girlfriend" my mom says smiling.

i laugh "good morning"

"i wish i had a girlfriend, can i have one?" Ryder says looking at our mom.

we both laugh "you turn 15 and you're already looking for a partner?"

"nah for real, what's up with that? you get tall and everything changes huh?"

"yes Nova, everything changes when you get taller. all the girls become into you" he nods.

i laugh "if she's just focused on you being taller than her, i'm afraid she's probably not the one"

"very true. if they don't like you for you, you deserve better" Tracie adds.

"okay i didn't ask that question to get lectured- i just wanted to know if i could get one" he laughs.

"do what your little heart desires honey but when you start trying to birds and the bees with her then we'll talk for real" she says making me wheeze while Ryder's face is disgusted.

𝒶𝓉 𝓈𝒸𝒽ℴℴ𝓁

it was the last class i had to go to before the final bell rings. my next class is one with Berlin in it as well.

we meet up and talk for a bit before we walk into class when the bell rings.

"so wait you said there's a banyan session with you and Joe tonight?" i whisper.

he nods and gives me a hopeful smile "yes ma'am, will we see you there?"

"you will indeed see me there" i nod.

"cool cool cool, i was hoping i would" he says laying his head on my shoulder.

i did my homework to get it over with so i could be free without worry tonight, i changed into some sweatpants and a tank top before heading next door.

i told my mom i was going over there and that i would probably be there for a while so she wouldn't be worried.

"you ready to go?" Berlin asks.

"ready whenever you are" i look at him.

he nods "Joe said he was down the street so he should be here any minute"
