Chapter 4

"So you're saying that Miya lost a race and was bet to call you two Mommy and Daddy?" That's kinda weird-

"Yep" Miya said plainly.

Joe and Cherry looked kinda suspicious saying that. I looked at Miya and he looked like he was forced to agree. I didn't believe it but Kaoru looked like he did so I just shrugged it off.

"But why would someone make Miya do that if he lost the race?" Kaoru said, the more that I think about it the weirder it gets.

He did have a point, why would someone make a 12 yr old do something that weird.

"OH look at the time!" Reki suddenly called out.

Joe looked at his watch, "Right we should all go home and get ready for the S tournament."

"S tournament?" Is he talking about the abandoned mine that Adam, Kaoru and I found? It turned into an actual thing?!

"I , Joe, Langa, Hiromi, and Miya qualified for the last few races of the tournament. They take place tonight at 12:00." Cherry finished his glass of wine and picked up his fan.

"Alright let's go." Langa practicality dragged Reki along to go home.

Cherry asked Hiromi if he could drive us home because all we had were our skateboards.

Kaoru and Kojiro just changed into something more comfortable while Joe and Cherry came out with their usual outfits. Of course Joe had to be shirtless with a zipped down Jacket and some sort of sweat pants. Cherry however, wore a sleeveless shirt and baggy navy pants.

"Why do you always have to be shirtless you dopey gorilla."  Cherry smacked Joe with his hand instead of his fan.

"Hey, I spent 3 years in Italy working on this body and I can't show it off?!" He put his arms up to support his head, showing off his upper torso even more.

They continued arguing.

Kaoru was staring at Joe flustered and Kojiro just wanted to touch Kaoru's hair, just once.

"Whatever let's just go." Cherry was flustered by the remarks and winks he got from Joe.

"I am not going to ride in the same car with you."

"But Cherr-"  Joe argued.

"No discussion, I'm also taking Kaoru with me on Carla." Cherry put his arm around Kaoru's shoulder and walked him out of the apartment.

They went outside and got on a black motorcycle with neon purple lines covering it.

"COOL!!!" Kaoru exited the doors and ran towards the motorcycle.

"It's always Carla, what does he see in her?!" Joe crossed his arms and put on a pouting face.

"Isn't Carla an AI?" Kojiro looked away from the two pink haired men to look up at his delusional older self.

How can someone be jealous of an AI? Joe was jealous of an AI-

Cherry and Joe rode in with Kaoru and Kojiro right beside them. A lot of people whispered wondering who they were but the usual fan girls (and guys) were screaming for them.

"And you say I don't get any girls." Kaoru said looking at Joe while he rolled his eyes.

Adam made the most dramatic entrance when he jumped out of a helicopter and opened a parachute.

"Hello Bitches, Bros, and Non-Binary Hoes!" (The farthest character development this man has made so far-)

Kaoru and Kojiro looked up in shook at seeing the new Adam in a clown looking outfit and acting absolutely insane.

"That's your boyfriend-" Joe leaned down tk whisper to Kaoru.

Kaoru looked down embarrassed.

Cherry isn't having it and hits Joe with his fan for making younger him feel embarrassed.

The tournament was starting and Adam pulled out the first two cards.

It was Miya and a random person. (I forgot the name 💀)

Obviously Miya won so it was time to advance into the next round.

Adam pulled out the next cards and it was Shadow(Hiromi) and snake.

When the race started they were both at a tie until snake started speeding up. A curve was coming up and Shadow was going to throw bombs. However Snake deflected it with his skateboard and the bombs exploded in Shadow's direction. Shadow,being down, automatically lost the race while Snake crossed the S line.

The next race was starting and Adam had to pull out the next two cards.

"Oohhh~ who's going to be next!! I hope it's me and snow!~"

Kaoru was puzzled by the sentence.

"Snow? Whose snow?" Kaoru turned to look at Cherry.

"Snow is Langa, he's taken an obsession to him ever since he beat shadow and Miya in a race while being a beginner in skating." Cherry explained trying not to hurt Kaoru's feelings.

'What? He likes someone else...?' Kaoru looked down feeling emotional.

Adam pulled out the next two cards and it was Langa and Joe.

"This will be easy!" Joe said to Cherry.

"Yea sure, gorilla don't underestimate Langa." Cherry gave a humorous smile to his lover.

"I'll see you guys at the finish line!"

Joe started skating to the starting line until he saw Langa.

"I won't go easy on ya kid." He leaned down preparing to skate.

"I hope you don't." Langa did the same and smiled slightly.

The race started, Joe and Langa immediately start to skate going around curves and jumping over rocks. Joe started going extremely fast until a curve came around, he jumped off his board and pushed off the curve then jumped back on his skateboard. He was ahead in the race for a while until snow started catching up. He suddenly got into a plank position on his skateboard and started going an inhuman speed. When they got to the abandoned factory Joe jumped on and pushed off a swinging metal bar. Langa did the same. Joe didn't think it would be possible because of how much less muscle Langa has than Joe. They were both going head to head until they got to the finish line.

Snow had won.

Joe wasn't sad or disappointed but proud of Langa for beating him. Joe had to go meet up with Cherry after as he was going to race against Adam since they were the only ones left. Although he was dreading to see him because Cherry was going to make fun of him undoubtedly.

Joe immediately went up to Cherry and hugged him. Surprisingly Cherry hugged back. He didn't question it because he didn't want to ruin or miss the moment.

"This is the final race, this lucky person will race against me! Adam pulled out the card and his smile turned into a frown.

"Cherry blossom" He shrugged, said it with no enthusiasm, and a bored look on his face.

A/N - This was kind of a boring chapter but i had to do it to transition to the next one lol.
