"Have you ever been to Monstadt?" (You)
"A few times. Never on my own will though. The archon is annoying." (Scara)
"I can agree with that. He's petty and a drunkard." You sighed "We're almost there."
"Where exactly?"
"We're going to Dawn Winery. Since we took the land route I thought we'd stay at Dawn Winery for the night and then go to Monstadt in the morning."
"The sun's almost setting anyways."
"Yeah. We're here."
Walking down the path, you knocked on the door.
"Miss Y/N?"
"Adelinde!" You grinned at the sight of the familiar face. "I didn't see you that time I stayed here for the night..."
"You were unconscious when I did. And I didn't see you leave." (Adelinde)
"It's been a while."(You)
"It has. Do you need a room for the night? Perhaps something to eat?" (Adelinde)
"We already ate and two rooms actually. I can take my old one and you can give him... just any room." (You)
"Whose your friend?"
"Just a friend I met... Former coworker."
"Should I call Master Diluc?"
"Sure, why not? Scara, do you want to stay or..."
"I'll go to my room." (Scara)
"Alright. Adelinde can you-" (You)
"Of course. Please, follow me."
You walked off and you smiled.
"Seeing her brings back old memories. She's the Head Maid now huh?"
"She is." You turned around.
"Diluc!"
"Y/N." You ran over and hugged him.
"I missed you."
"Me too. Where's Adelinde?"
"She took Scara to his room."
"He's here?" He let go and stepped back to look at you.
"Yeah. He insisted on tagging along. You know, it was nice to see her again. I remember her running after us when we snuck off to play."
"We got in a lot of trouble after that."
"But we kept doing it."
"Of course. We had a hideout in the woods and everything." You chuckled. "We were happy then, weren't we?"
"That was before we knew... our childhood selves saw this world as perfect. We didn't know how cruel the world can get."
"It was a rude awakening, but something we had to endure."
"Are you leaving tomorrow?"
"We have to go find lodgings in Monstadt."
"You're going to live together again?"
"No. We had enough funds so we decided not to."
"You can just stay here."
"Diluc. You know how I feel about that."
"I do."
"I should go to sleep now. Unless... you still have that business you run late at night going?"
