The weather forecasted that Friday would be a bright, sunny day with low chances of rain. This had prompted Chloe to invite Y/n out to the mall so that she could purchase clothes that she could wear to a party. This was a rare chance to see what kind of clothes Y/n was in to without fully disclosing her intentions.
Thankfully, the orange haired teen had no interactions with Derrick nor the trio of girls that despised her so, which led her to be in a brilliant mood. Walking outside of the college building, the two friends moved towards the large mall that was located in the centre of the city.
Derrick gave her a bad feeling, his way of talking and his persistent efforts to converse with her. It wasn't like when Y/n was trying to befriend her... he was more... handsy.
Chloe was used to only wearing her school clothes and work clothes. She didn't really see the need for casual clothes over buying food. The bright blue sky shone down upon the two teens, seemingly in a great mood to see them once again.
An arch of metal stood firm in front of them, beholding a large, two storied, mall which held over 70 different shops. The ground floor was filled with shops that the proletariat could buy from, whilst the first floor contained many highly expensive designer brands, such as Gucci and Selfridges.
It was about four in the afternoon by the time they arrived at their location, the mall being chalk full of students who had arrived after school had ended, presumably to shop or to go the the arcade located on the ground floor of the mall. Y/n grasped Chloe's left hand as he led the way towards the shopping section, both teens blushing at the contact whilst looking away from each other.
Music flooded the mall as a middle aged man sat down on the side of a shop and started to play a guitar. Y/n, intrigued by the sounds, walked over to them and donated some money, evoking gratitude from the ragged looking busker. The young man had felt that it was his responsibility to donate money when due to his wealthy background, being philanthropic was perhaps one of his best traits.
Entering the shop, Chloe started to walk around the aisles, conversing with Y/n on what would look good with her. The small teen didn't really have much of a preference towards the clothes and picked out random clothes, feigning interest to see if Y/n liked them or not.
Settling on two sets of clothes, one comprising of denim trousers, a white T-shirt and a orange and black checkered jacket. The other consisted of a baggy navy-blue jumper with a grey T-shirt and a comfortable pair of black jogging bottoms.
The smaller counterpart of the two made her way over to the changing rooms in order to confirm that the clothes were, in fact, suited to her and fitted her. After a small waiting period, Chloe walked out in her first outfit, Y/n agreeing that their sense of taste, which was really just his own taste, was definitely on point.
The second outfit fit just as well as the first resulting in both being bought, the bag being held by Y/n's right hand as they walked out of the shop.
"Hey Y/n, I'm hungry so let's get something to eat..." she commented whilst rubbing her stomach.
The taller teen laughed at her actions before moving over to grab her hand and move over to the closest good restaurant that he could remember. Both teens ordered food, Chloe ordering pasta whilst Y/n order {favourite food}.
"Hey Chloe, I'm going to grab something real quick, I'll be back before the food comes." Y/n explained before leaving his seat and heading towards the first floor of the mall.
'I'll get her an expensive dress to commemorate our first party together! I bet it'll be a blast!" he chuckled inwardly.
