The seemingly frost covered concrete caused the cold to seep into Y/n's skin as he slowly awoke from his long slumber. The last thing that he had remembered was sleeping in that tiny bed next to... Chloe.
Checking his senses weren't trying to trick the boy, he felt around his surroundings. 'Hard mattress... Check... Covers... Not there.' concluding that he was in fact no longer in his previous resting place, he hastily checked his surroundings.
The warmth that clung to his back had ceased to exist, amongst other things that had touched him. A deep red hue sprung upon his face as he covered his head with his hands in embarrassment, completely forgetting that he was in an unknown location.
Opening his eyes, a dull and unfurnished room formed around him. 'At least I'm not in another bed... Honestly I think that would scare me more than waking up in this prison like room.'
Y/n's previous experiences had certainly skewed the boy's perception as to what was good and bad, feeling quite fortune to be where he was as of current.
The gunmetal grey walls greeted his eyes which spun around the room finding only a few pieces of furniture, namely a small bed hanging from the wall and a white table set opposite the massive metal door which kept the boy imprisoned within.
The sound of keys hitting against one and another grew louder as heavy footsteps joined the fray. As the boy looked over to the door, several locks clicked open, a large bulky man appearing in front of him.
Two large black orbs dug holes into the figure standing inside the cell, a thin and powerless male. The larger of the two scoffed at the thought that the doors had several locks and inches of steel preventing this twig looking guy from escaping.
Hell, he doubted the young'n had the guts to attempt it anyways.
"Morning Roll call. After that It's time to work you like a mule. Get used to it, that's your life for the foreseeable future." the giant man laughed, sounding as if thunder had struck down from the heavens.
Y/n grimaced at the new information that had been allocated to him, not looking forward to be 'worked like a mule' as the man put it. Furthermore, it looked as if it would be unpaid work as well.
Shoved out of the room, the tall teen slowly advanced forwards, as if he were a death row inmate walking towards his execution chamber. It would appear that his cell was located at the end of the corridor, seven other doors located to the left of his.
Multiple cameras lined the ceiling, a woman equipped with a pistol guarding a pair of dark brown oak doors. Exerting a small grunt to the woman, the large man thrusted open the wood, revealing a large rectangular white room.
Surveying the land in front of him, Y/n soon became aware of the seven pairs of orbs which inquisitively looked him up and down.
A head of fiery orange hair stepped forward, opening his mouth to speak to the boy, "My name's Isaac. You one of us?" he queried, an apprehensive expression upon his countenance. Y/n shrugged in confusion, prompting a girl with matte black hair to step forward, offering an explanation.
"He wants to know if you were kidnapped like the rest of us. Ashley's the name. You?" she said.
Before the teen could answer, the large man's voice boomed out, "He'll be working with you lot. Make sure to rough him up, he's one of us."
The red head gave Y/n a fierce stare, looking ready to give him a fist or two, before being blocked by a slim outreached hand, belonging to a tall blonde hair.
"Imbecile. Isaac, look at the bastard." she paused, letting the hot-headed boy to observe the large man who had a large grin upon his countenance, clearly being entertained by their in fighting. "Besides, look at the kid. You think they'd hire someone as scrawny as his ass?" she reasoned, causing Y/n to look down at his body, a frown growing on his face.
