I walked into Mr. Rays class and sat down at my table and brushed my blonde hair out my face and grabbed my history book and my notebook. I felt a brush of air and looked to see Luke taking his seat sighing loudly and pulling his stuff out his tiny backpack. I went to say something but decided to shut my mouth and let him be till I heard,"oh-uh hey.." "Huh?" I turned with a confused face and lifted my dark sunglasses seeing if he was talking to me and he was!
He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly and smiled shyly till he hear," Mr. Connelly is there something you'd like to share with the class? Flirting is better than learning Mr. Connelly?" Mr. Ray said tilting his head at Luke as I turned quickly back to my notebook. "Uh-uh no, no sir," he shook his head as Mr. Ray pushed up his glasses and spoke,"then I suggest you get your work done at school and flirting out of school young man." With that Mr. Ray walked away. I slowly turned my head facing Luke and snickered silently and turned to look where Mr. Ray was I saw Mackenzie glaring at me like she was going to kill me.
I entered the cafeteria and looked for my table and dropped my bag on my seat and went to get my lunch. I stood in line waiting to get my lunch when I saw a giant shadow come over me and turned to see Luke towering over me. I let out a squeal and stumbled back but before I could fall he grabbed my arm and pulled me back up. "Thanks...," I said stuttering then accidentally said,"so I heard...you broke up with uh Mackenzie....," I looked down quickly realizing I shouldn't have said anything. Luke pulled down his jersey a little and moved his lips a little nervously and spoke," yeah... I just felt like the relationship was going no where and she was too much to handle." I nodded and got my food and went to my table where my friends had already arrived and sat down.
I twirled my fork in my mash potatoes and looked up t o see Luke with his friends eating like a normal person, but he isn't just a normal person. "Girl you day dreaming again, go actually have a conversation with him!," my best friend Jasmine said looking at me then rolling her eyes. " I will, I just need-," before I could finish I looked up to see Luke standing up next thing I see Mackenzie rushing to him and babbling about something then screeching like a banshee," what do you mean you have a girlfriend! I'm your girlfriend!" She said tugging at his jersey demanding his attention the getting," don't you get Mackenzie we are OVER," he said quite annoyed and threw his trash away and walked out and as he did the cafeteria got completely silent before Mackenzie screamed and pushed her way out the doors. As this happened all my friends looked at each other then me.... Uh-oh
