Kim : "I'm telling you, honey, six o'clock tonight."

A'Jahnae : "Mother, I will bring everyone to the dinner, alright?Jakari too, if that makes you feel better."

Kim : "Alright, honey. I need to begin the sugar fish -"

A'Jahnae : "Mommy, my favorite!" I smiled adding a bow to Caitlyn's hair.

Kim : "Haha, I know. Call me when you're on your way later on."

A'Jahnae : "Alright, love you."

Kim : "I love you too."

Chris : "Aye, babe, pass me the pony tail holders", I gave Chris the box of many hair bows and bowrettes.

A'Jahnae : "Don't burn my hair, Chris", I said as Chris put a part of my hair in a pony tail and put olive oil on the rest.

Chris : "I won't, you better be paying attention to Whodi's hair and lemme do me", I rolled my eyes as I used the comb to comb Whodi's hair. She wanted three braids on one side and the rest curled. We are a family of multitaskers because Chris was doing my hair, I was doing Whodi's hair, Whodi was putting Crystal's hair into two buns, and Caitlyn was just playing around in Chris's hair.

A'Jahnae : "Baby, we got an hour until the appointment!"

Chris : "Whodi, you almost done?"

N'Aejah : "Yeah."

Chris : "Aight, 'cause this chick right hea' messin' up my gorgeous hair and she needa stoooopppp."

Chris : "When I'm done with Baby's hair, I'm cooking you in the oven and eating you for dinner."

N'Aejah : "Mommy, can I go to the spring dance at school?"

N'Aejah : "He said he's wearing blue so we can find a blue dress, right?"

A'Jahnae : "Right, baby, with the help of your daddy", I turned towards Chris and he had a permanent pout on his face. I laughed as he continued to curl my hair.

Chris : "Babe, where you at?!" I heard Chris's heavy footsteps coming down the stairs.

A'Jahnae : "I'm in the kitchen!" I called back, stuffing my face with a handful of Capt'n Crunch cereal.

Chris : "You eatin' once again? You ain't gonna have room for ya mother's dinner tonight", Chris chuckled wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.
