Jamira in Media!

A'Jahnae

Holding Nile in my arms, I looked up and laid eyes on Jakari and Jamira walking through the door. I was taken aback and looked at Chris, who was already looking at them with Amory. The noise of the party silenced, as I felt a strong stare between the four of them.

Moments later, Chris and Amory walked over toward them. I did, too.

"Jakari," Amory smiled, hugging him tightly. He hugged back and smiled softly. "I missed your ugly butt."

"I missed you too, the baby's getting so big." He rubbed her stomach. I looked down, realizing she never knew where he was the entire time.

"Y'all want some time alone?" Chris asked them. They nodded as Jamira walked away with us. She pulled a purple gift bag from behind her bag and gave it to Nae.

"Here, this is for N'Aejah." She smiled.

"Thank you, Jamira." Jamira stopped in her tracks and looked at me, then at Chris.

"You're welcome. Um, since Jakari's back and well, I felt it was good time to mention that I and Chris wanted Amory to take a paternity test for the baby when it comes, and I felt it was best I told you before I told A'Jaiziea." She looked into my eyes. I shook my head, laughing.

"First, this was not a good time because it's N'Aejah's birthday party, and second, why do you want the DNA test so bad? I understand where you're coming from, but you gotta remember that Jakari was Amory's first."

"That's all that we were ever told because they were caught in the act. I'm not denying your niece's innocence, but this being my first supposed grandchild, I think it's best for me to know for sure-"

"So, what you're saying is that it is perfectly fine for Chris to get a paternity test done on Jakari?" Jamira frowned up and shot back.

"Why are you even taking it to this?" Jamira laughed.

"Because you're basically calling my niece a hoe."

"I did not-" I cut Jamira off.

"You did, because if I say that Chris needs to get a DNA test on Jakari, you feel as though I'm doubting him actually being Chris' son. All you want me to do is go off of what you're telling me, so why can't you do that with my niece?" I asked.

"A'Jahnae, cool it." Chris tried calming me down.

"I'm not about to do this with you, you aren't even her mother. I thought you would be more understanding."

"But even if I was not his mother, that's my niece, so.." I trailed off.

"You know what?" She laughed, "What would you do if this were to happen to Nile? A girl claiming that he has a child at sixteen, that didn't sit too well with me-"

"But that won't happen to Nile because he will not have unprotected sex at sixteen. I will be making sure of that." Jamira started laughing.

"You comin' off the wrong way. As if I didn't make sure my son was doing the right thing."

"Having sex before marriage and it resulting in a child is not the right thing."
