"What are the police doing here?" I whisper to myself as I hesitantly open the door. "Yes?" I ask the officer. "Is this the residents of Amanda Adkins?" He asks. "Yes it is. Why?" "I'm sad to tell you this but...she died in car crash along with Alex Monts and Tyler Smith." "...n-n-n-n-no...no. No. No! NO! NOOO!!!!!" I start crying hard. "Would you like to see them?" The officer asks. I nod, still crying. He takes me to his squad car and I sit in the front with him.
After we get to the morgue, he takes me to where my family is. I see them lying on tables, side by side, half burned with terrified expressions. I start crying again, harder than before. "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!" I scream. "My only family...gone!" I break down to my knees and cry.
When I can finally speak without balling, I say, "What happened?" He explained to me that my mom and brothers had crashed into eachother. Then he showed me pictures of the crash. He took me home and I cried into my pillow for the rest of the night. I couldn't sleep, the memory was too haunting.
