The Only Reason

"Guys, can I talk to you in the hallway?" Calum says pulling the others into the hallway.
After they were all in the hallway, Calum shut the door leaving me alone with my thoughts. I didn't wanna think about what I just told them again so I started thinking about how long it had been since I'd listen to music. The last time I was in my house was the last time I'd listened to music.
So, I started running through songs in my head and came across The Only Reason by 5sos. It described what I was going through and it made me want to sing it. So I made a makeshift drum thing that Ashton uses in acoustic shows (I can't remember what its called) out of two chairs and attempted to make the beat. Once I got that going I started singing. My voice was a little bit rough and deep but it wasn't too bad. "Don't talk, lemme think it over. How we gonna fix this? How we gonna undo all the pain? Tell me, is it even worth it? Lookin for a straight line. Takin back the time we can't replace." I shift up to a higher tone. "All the crosses wires, just makin us tired. Is it too late to bring us back to life? When I close my eyes and try to sleep, I fall apart and find it hard to breathe. You're the reason, the only reason. Even though my dizzy head is numb, I swear my heart is never giving up. You're the reason, the only reason." My voice shifts up a little more. "I feel you, burning under my skin. I swear I see you shinin, brighter then the flame inside your eyes." My voice shifts back to were it started. "Bitter words spoken, everything's broken. Its never too late to bring us back to life." I didn't hear the guys come in. I didn't know they were there until they started singing with me. "When I close my eyes and try to sleep, I fall apart and find it hard to breathe. You're the reason, the only reason. Even though my dizzy head is numb, I swear my heart is never giving up. You're the reason, the only reason." I stop beating and singing and they all smile at me. I blush slightly but they can't see it because of all the dirt on my face. "That was amazing." They all say in unison. They look at eachother and laugh. "Thanks," I say, kinda shy.
"What were you guys talking about out there?" I change the subject. "We decided to take you off the streets and have you live with us." Ashton says. I can't believe this. I almost start crying. "Is something wrong?" Calum asks me. "I can't believe this! This is like every fans dream. I get to live and go on tours with you guys?" "Yep." Luke says. I jump up and give them all super tight hugs.
