Don't Get On My Nerves, Dorm Mate!

It was the following morning and Alhaitham had woken up from his sleep. He opens his eyes to see that Kaveh was there laying beside him and was still sleeping as he was hugging Alhaitham. Alhaitham shakes him lightly to wake him up.

"Kaveh," He shakes him again. "Kaveh, wake up it's already 7 am, it's your turn to make breakfast." Alhaitham says. 

Kaveh opens his eyes and instantly closes it when rays of sunshine hit his eye. "Let me sleep in, it's a sunday." Kaveh says as he covers himself with a blanket. "You have to practice for your thesis defense tomorrow dummy." After Alhaitham said this Kaveh sat up and ran to the kitchen to make breakfast for them.  "Oh gosh! I forgot I had a meeting with my group mates at 9 am! Al! I'm coming home late today okay?" Kaveh says while he was cooking.

Kaveh walked around their house as he multi-tasks, fixing his things, preparing clothes and his bath, after he was done cooking he went to take  a bath. "Kaveh, your keys are on the coffee table, bring them, you might sleep out cause I'll be sleeping early today." Alhaitham says. "Okay!" Kaveh says from the bathroom. 

After eating he went to get his clothes and wear it before coming out to eat. While eating Kaveh sees Alhaitham looking at his phone often and just decides to ignore it not wanting to be nosy. "You gonna sleep early? why?" Kaveh asks. "Well, I just have been sleeping late I'm getting headaches so yeah."  Alhaitham said not making eye contact with Kaveh, he was glued to his phone then he suddenly smiles. 

"I'll be going then." Kaveh says stands up to go to brush his teeth and take his things before walking to the door. "I'm bringing a friend here so if you see someone other than me." Alhaitham says before Kaveh walks out the door. "Got it." Kaveh leaves their dorm to go to his meeting with his group mates. 

Later that night it was already 10 pm. Kaveh had just got back to his dorm and he forgot his keys, he knocks on the door... no answer... He knocks again and it opens but instead of Alhaitham it was a girl. "You must be his dormmate! Hi I'm Setaria his girlfriend!" The girl said. This surprised Kaveh, he just smiles. "Oh? Nice to meet you, where's Alhaitham?" Kaveh says as he goes in and locks the door. "He went to buy alcohol and food." Setaria said. "Alright, then tell him if he got home I'm sleeping at a friends house tonight." Kaveh says as he takes his keys on the coffee table. "Don't have too much fun." Kaveh gives her a wink and a chuckle then goes out. 

He takes out his phone.

Dehya: wanna drink?

No, thanks, thesis defense  tomorrow

Dehya: :(

[10:14 pm]

Kaveh went to the location where Denhya was drinking, he eventually found her on the bar stool. "Hey." Kaveh says in a sad tone. "Tell me everything." Dehya said as she slides over a shot of whiskey.

Kaveh expressed his troubles, he was crying as he got more and more drunk as hours go by. "He's mixed signals and a red flag, why are you surprised dumbass, you're a mixed signals and red flag enjoying." Dehya says as she takes a shot of gin.

"Atleast I'm enjoying it!" Kaveh says getting more and more emotional. "Yeah, enough drinks for you, let's bring you back to your dorm." Dehya says as she tries to carry Kaveh but feel's Kaveh's phone vibrating.

HotbutAnnoying: Where are you? My friend told me you're gonna sleep at a friend's house?
HotbutAnnoying: Kaveh...

[3:10 am]

HotbutAnnoying: Please Answer I'm worried

"Hey Kaveh! Your boyfriend's spamming you with texts and calls, he's asking where you are, should I answer?" Dehya asks a bit in a panic that Kaveh was in a state that's too drunk to function. "Boyfriend?" Kaveh asks not knowing who she's talking about. "Mr. Mixed Signals." Dehya says. Kaveh just scoffs and stands on his own. "I'll handle myself! Let me sleep in your house tonight."
Kaveh says.

Dehya just watches as he walks outside the bar then followed him. "Jeez, alright then, I can't force you to come home. Although, the messages from that guy, he sounds really concerned." Dehya said. "Let him." Kaveh walks to her apartment, since Dehya lives close by the bar.

As soon as they got to her apartment Kaveh falls to the couch then sleeps.

It was 5 am and Kaveh wakes up with a headache, he checks his phone and remembers he's in Dehya's apartment. "Oh archons! My thesis defense!" Kaveh says as he runs outside and goes to his dorm, he opens the door to find that Alhaitham had fallen asleep on the couch, He payed no mind then went straight to take a bath.

After taking a bath, he gets out and sees Alhaitham was awake now, looking at his direction. "Kaveh! Where were you? You didn't respond to me then left me on read last night..." Alhaitham said concerned.

"I was at a friend's house, I didn't want to interrupt you and your girlfriend." Kaveh said as he goes to change his clothes, he comes back out and Alhaitham looked at him with concern again. "But you had a smell of alcohol when you came in, but you wouldn't drink if you had a presentation the following day." Alhaitham said.

"It's... To get rid of the nerves..." Kaveh said as he fixed his things and was now ready to go out. "Are you really okay?" Alhaitham asks. Kaveh nods his head. "Yeah, thanks for the concern." Kaveh says as he walks out the door.
