"Alright, I need all of you to pass your research before Christmas break, and also be sure to review because after Christmas Break it'll be your finals for this semester." The professor said before walking out of the class.

The class let out a huge sigh, one of them was Kaveh. "We also have plates to pass in our introduction to architecture," Kaveh muttered before standing up to fix his things and walk to his next class.

Walking out of the room he received a message.

HotButAnnoying

Hey, are you free at noon?

Why?

Lunch together

Free

Meet me at the cafeteria by 12 then

ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ roger.

Kaveh's classes were done so he headed to the cafeteria to find a seat for the both of them since it would be full by noon with students. He heads over there almost dragging his feet overwhelmed with the tasks his professors had given to him. He sits at a table and works on his activities while waiting for Alhaitham.

A while later he saw Alhaitham walk through the cafeteria entrance and Kaveh raised his hand to get his attention. Alhaitham walked towards him. "did you already order food?" Alhaitham asks to which Kaveh replies by shaking his head a no. "Alright, let's go order from the stalls," Alhaitham said practically pulling up Kaveh. They ordered their food and sat back down.

"You look horrible," Alhaitham said. For Alhaitham, it was an unnatural scene of Alhaitham being the talkative one and Kaveh being quiet. Kaveh looked up at him pouting. "My professors are so mean, all of the minor and major subjects gave big tasks to do and it's all to be passed before Christmas break!" Kaveh said eating his food aggressively. Alhaitham looked at him with sympathy. "Well, all the professors do that, that's what I got from my senior at least. I'm sure you can do this, you're a smart guy." Alhaitham said.

"Sure, smart," Kaveh said. After lunch, before they stand up Alhaitham looks up at Kaveh. "I'm gonna get to the dorms late so you can just lock the door, I have keys, also," Alhaitham pulls out Kaveh's keys and hands them over to him. "You keep forgetting, I'm not always in the dorm to open the door for you," Alhaitham says smirking before walking away, Kaveh also walks away to continue the rest of their class.

After his classes, Kaveh returns to his dorm to continue his activities. He was in HoyoMeet while chatting on TeleVerse he was working on multiple activities on multiple courses at once. "Kaveh, I don't think I can make a concept for a blueprint, I have a gig going on tomorrow." A groupmate of Kaveh said in HoyoMeet. Kaveh let out a sigh. "You do know that this is an equivalent of our grade in the 2nd quarter this would have a huge effect on our final grade and you're gonna tell me you're gonna put your gig first before this? this isn't an individual activity this is something that will drag all of us down, do you not understand that?" Kaveh said menacingly.

"The only thing that will drag us down is you being a perfectionist!" His groupmate said leaving the meeting. the others reassured Kaveh sided with him, and suggested taking out that groupmate in the group and just working on it together. after doing everything in a day Kaveh lies down and thinks about what the ex-group member said about him.

Keys could then be heard from the outside indicating Alhaitham is home. "To hell with that end-of-semester party," Alhaitham said to himself before walking into the room to see Kaveh seemingly out of it. "Kaveh? Are you alright?" Alhaitham asked. Kaveh looks at him and lets out a sad smile. "It's a bit chilly tonight don't you think?" Kaveh said. "Yeah, I guess it's a shame to sleep alone, Let me change my clothes first," Alhaitham said. He lays on Kaveh's bed laying beside Kaveh,  taking him in his arms, they don't say a thing, just comfortable silence.

"I... just wanted my mom to smile again, I pursued architecture because of my mother, she was so passionate about it, she would go on and show my father her works and would always get praised when my father died, all that passion went away, the warm and happy home I knew crumbled. I had to act tough for my mom I didn't want to burden her anymore, so I did my best. when I showed her the plates I did to get into the architecture major, she let out a small smile, I told myself I was going to graduate with flying honors, for her happiness no matter what stress I was going to feel, I'd sacrifice the world for her smile," Kaveh said, he was tearing up and Alhaitham made Kaveh face him to wipe his tears. "So far, you're one of the most hardworking people I know, the only thing we never agree on is lifestyle choices, but I have high respect for how much of, you, as a person, you got in by sending examples and by interview, you've already made it this far and I'm sure your mother and father are proud of you, even I am, I am so glad to be roommates with such an amazing student," Alhaitham said softly reassuring Kaveh.

Kaveh was tearing up more. "But the other day you said I was annoying," Kaveh said jokingly in a shaky voice. "That's cause you won't stop listening to that Fantasize song by Arianna Grade, you had it on loop for 3 hours, are you trying to tease your schoolwork so it would finish quicker?" Alhaitham jokes, Kaveh giggles. "You're silly," Kaveh said burying his face in Alhaitham's Chest. (MOVE MY TURN KAVEH!) "Thank you, Al, even though I usually start pointless arguments, you still went out of your way to comfort me," Kaveh said letting out a relieved sigh. "At least it's never boring in here," Alhaitham said smiling and patting Kaveh's head before both of them fell asleep.
