Ella knew how things were. She knew what had happened with her and Max. She knew how they were getting closer. Ella knew how they had kissed and she was confused about it all.
Ella didn't know how she felt. But she knew that her head was a mess about it. She knew how Max had been there for her with her pregnancy lately and she was glad.
She knew how the last thing that she wasn't was to be alone.
Ella knew how things were changing with her and Max. She knew it was still so awkward when he was her sister's ex. Ella knew how Alexis had told her how she was fine with it.
But Ella did feel awkward by it. She knew that for now she was trying to focus on the pregnancy and her baby.
Ella looked to her phone as she saw Max calling her and sighed. Ella knew how her head was a mess.
She knew that she didn't know how to deal with it all. How she just wanted for things to be okay. But she knew how it wasn't easy.
Ella got ready for work as she grabbed her keys off of the side. She walked off to her car and drove to work.
Once she got to work she stood from the car as she saw Rachel who smiled. "Hey love. How are you doing?" Rachel asked.
Ella smiled. "I'm okay. I mean...I don't know."
"I know how things are. I know it's not easy. But I am here for you," Rachel said as Ella looked to her and smiled.

Ella stood in the staffroom. She looked to see Alexis as she walked in. She smiled as she looked to her sister and smiled. "Hey how are you doing? I know that you're spending a lot of time with Max lately. But you're my sister. And I do worry," she said.
Ella looked to her and smiled. "You don't need to worry. Max and I are just friends nothing else. I know that you and Max have a history and all. But it will be okay. I am just trying to do what is best for the baby."
Alexis smiled. "I know. Look I see how Max looks at you. He likes you more then just he got you pregnant. If you want to do it I want you to know. I won't stand in your way," she told her as Ella sighed.
She didn't know what she wanted. But she was confused.

Ella sat in her classroom. She looked up to see Max as he walked in. He looked to her and smiled. "Hey. Are you okay?" He asked.
Ella smiled. "I'm okay."
Max nodded and smiled. "I wanted to check on you as I haven't seen you. I know how things are. I know it's not been easy. But I wanted to go to dinner. And talk about everything that is going on with us," he said as Ella frowned.
She knew that things were changing with them. But were they about to become something more?
