Sophie's POV

I walked to my locker my head down, a hood over my head. I saw Linh and Tam walk over to me, not seeing Dex in sight.

"Hey Sophie! What's wrong?" Linh asked. I sighed and closed the locker door after I got my books.

"Something happened yesterday after rehearsal. Me and Dex got into a fight and now we aren't talking."

"Oh, well if you need to talk you know I'm here for you," I smile.

"Thanks Linh."

"So how was rehearsal yesterday?" she asked, leaning against a locker.

"It was fine," I quickly answer, finding Tam trying to leave without us noticing.

"Tam, where are you going?" I asked.

"I'm heading to class," Linh and I raised an eyebrow.

"Classes don't start for another 10 minutes or so," Linh said.

"I like to get their early," he said and started heading down the hallway.

"He's acting weird. His first class isn't down that hallway," Linh said.

"Linh, he's obviously not going to his class. He's certainly hiding something, that's for sure. You know I think he's crushing on Biana," I said.

"Fitz's little sister? There's no way. She's far out of league," Linh said.

"Believe what you want Linh, but at lunch last week, he couldn't take his eyes off of her," I told her.

"Well, I'm going to figure what's going on. Catch you later!" I plugged in my Earpods and listened to my music, not noticing someone had walked up to.

"Hey Fitz," I greeted, taking my Earpods out.

"Hey Sophie, I was wondering if you were all right? After rehearsal yesterday, you seemed quite upset when you started heading home."

"Yeah, I'm fine, although do you think you could leave me alone for a bit, I want to just be alone," I say. He smiled and nodded and started turning the other way. I felt bad. He had been so kind to me, it wasn't fair if I talked to him like that.

"Fitz wait!" He turned back.

"I shouldn't said that. It's just that Dex is my best friend and it just doesn't feel right, not talking to him. I'm sorry, I'm not feeling my best, I shouldn't have talked to you like that," I apologized.

"Hey it's fine, I get it. Getting in a fight is never a great feeling. And I get if you want to be alone, but if you need anything you can always come to me," I smiled and hugged him.

"Thanks Fitz." We soon broke apart and he smiled back.

"No problem. I'll see you later." Fitz was so sweet. I saw Dex walk up to me.

"Sophie, I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday," I smile and hug him.

"I am too. I'm sorry you felt like I wasn't there enough or I was distancing myself. You know you're my best friend."

"You're my best friend to Sophie. And I'm sorry about what I said. You know I don't like Wonderboy and I have no idea what came over me," we broke apart and I smiled at him.

"Hey it's fine. I just don't want us to fight again," he smiled back.

"Don't worry," we hugged once again, shorter than our last one.

"So, you ready for rehearsal today?" Dex asked.

"Yeah, I guess. I stutter so much. I just realized. Cinderella wears this big dress. What if I trip and fall down?"
