Sophie's POV

I was far to excited. The play was just next week on Friday and Saturday. (Twice on Friday) All props had been finished and everyone's costumes had been finished by a very talented, hard working, Biana. We now rehearsed as if we were actually doing the play and I've learned to trip less, which for me is a big accomplishment. We rehearsed more now, just to squeeze every little scene in.

I practiced a lot in front of my mirror and I think I did everything well. I'd go over to the Vacker's mansion and practice with them a bit, in fact I was going right now. My mom drove me over their house and insisted on walking me up the stairs. When I rung the doorbell, it had quickly been answered by a smiling Della.

Both moms made eye contact and hugged. I saw Fitz walk up to us with a sign of confusion on his face.

"Oh Della, it's so nice to see you again!" Edaline said once they broke apart.

"It's great to see you too Eda. It's been so long! Come in," She got out of the way and let Edaline and I go through. They took a seat on the couch and Fitz and I went upstairs and already found Biana in his bedroom.

"Hey Sophie!" She greeted, a smile on her face.

"Hey Biana!" I say back, sitting besides her.

"So, what do you guys want to do?" Fitz asked, taking a seat on his chair. Biana and I both shrugged.

"Sophie how are you feeling about the play?" Biana asked. I shrugged.

"Fine. I just really hope I don't mess up on a line or trip over my dress," I answered. Fitz grinned.

"Sophie, you have nothing to worry about, you're the best actress out of all of us, you're going to do perfectly," Fitz encouraged. I smiled at him, a small blush rising to my cheeks.

"Fitz is right, you are the first one who memorized all their lines and if the play will go as smoothly as hoped, you'll do perfect," I smile at the Vacker siblings.

"Thanks, and I know you two are going to be great as well," they smiled.

"Yeah, and the role finally gives me a reason to say 'bippity boppity boo!'" Biana said, a smile on her face. Fitz rolled his eyes playfully at his sister.

"I only hope nothing big comes up before the play," Fitz said. I nodded in agreement. Silveny had been pregnant for quite some time, and any day she could be going into labor. I only hoped it wasn't going to be on opening night.

After that, we had played card games, board games, and several other things, before I heard a "Sophie!" from downstairs. I stood up and headed down the long staircase, finding Edaline grab her bags and putting on her shoes.

"It's a shame you must leave now," Della said, giving Edaline a hug.

"It's starting to get late but thank you, and it's been lovely seeing you all again," the two hugged again and I put my shoes on and grabbed my bag. I hugged Biana and Della before saying quick good bye's to The Vackers.

Once we had entered the car, and we soon headed home.

"I didn't know you knew Della," I said.

"It's been a while. We were very good friends, but as time went on, we become busy with kids and had stopped contacting, which was a shame." Edaline said. "I had no idea you were crushing on Della's son though. You had never said Fitz's last name." I blushed.

"I think you two would make a very cute couple," she said with a smile. I covered my face with my hands, groaning.

"Mom, we're just friends. And besides we've met each other a month ago or so."

"But the way he looks at you isn't how a friend would look at a friend. Sophie, Fitz likes you, you're just oblivious to see it.  And I know that you like him too," And ending off with that the end of the car ride home was silent.
