Cyno adjusted the 'Open!' sign on the window to be just a little more neat looking, and more to his liking. Opening the small café in the mornings and closing at late afternoon around 9PM had grown to be a comforting routine that became less of a hassle as he kept doing so.
His small café is one he'd grown popularity for by a unique taste of harsh but gentle bittersweet taste the townsfolk of a small, well— Town named Bittersby Burrows.
Cyno stepped back, content with how everything looked around him, filled with shiny counters and reflective windows he'd just cleaned outside and in. A faint smile spread on his face as he turned around, and slipped behind the counter, waiting for somebody to walk in.
Maybe that one nice lady from before will come in again. . He pondered, sitting in a stool as he watched birds flutter and fly in the skies through the glass walls with jealousy— Wishing he could fly with them, and not have to work that day.
The familiar brrING~ rang out and Cyno jumped from his day dream. He looked at the person who'd walked in as he fixed his posture only to meet an unfamiliar face.
"Hello," Cyno greeted, pushing aside his stool and standing up to meet his eyes better. "how are you today?"
"I'm just fine. ." The man sighed, walking over to the counter and standing right infront of it.
Upon Cyno scanning his face, he could tell he was one of the people who needed a coffee in the morning to get them going for the rest of it.
"What would you like?" Cyno asked.
"I'd like a. . Hm.." The man pondered, looking at the menu above with a stumped twitch of his tall ear.
Cyno waited for a little, before deciding to speak.
"Well. . One of my good — selling drinks is the Traditional Mocha Swirl? It's just a sweet chocolate flavor if you like sweeter things." He suggested."Ahh, screw it- Sure." The other agreed.
"$3.99, but we both know it's $4, so, just give me 4." Cyno nodded with a small chuckle, happy to help.
The man gave a small smile back in agreement, and set the money on the counter.
Cyno turned around, grabbed a cup, and turned back quickly, asking— "Oh- Did you want a specific name on the cup?"
"No, well— Tighnari."
Cyno grabbed a sharpie, and walked to the counter. "How do you spell that, ... Ssir." He asked, not remembering he didn't know his name.
A small chuckle came from the man, and his faint smile came back. "I'm Tighnari."
"Oh.."
"But, it's T - I - G - H - N - A - R - I." Tighnari explained with a playful twitch of his ear and content, idle wag of his tail.
Cyno copied down the name with a nod, and brought the cup over to the section of behind the counter he called the 'Make-It-Station' which was just the section closest to the back wall where coffees, and small bakery contents, or food were made.

Chno finished the cup of sweet swirls, and handed it to Tighnari.
"Here you go," Cyno half - mumbled as he slid the practically scalding cup to him. "your Traditional Mocha Swirl." Cyno added, meeting his face."Thank you, err.." Tighnari mumbled, scanning his face for a name.
"Cyno. . Cyno's my name."
"Oh— Thank you then, Cyno." Tighnari chuckled lightly, taking the cup and holding it in his hands as if it's burning temperature was nothing to him.
Perhaps he's just a coffee lover, and used to the warmth. Cyno thought, watching in slight awe how Tighnari held the cup so casually.
"You're welcome." He nodded. "Have a nice day, Tighnari." Cyno added in dismissal, a small wave to him as he was visibly about the leave the café.
"You have a nice day aswell, Cyno." Tighnari waved back, half — turning to him again. "Expect me to be here more," He added with a sip. "I think I'll like the beverages here more than I thought." He smiled, turning back to the door, and taking his leave.
Cyno nodded at him, feeling an oddly jappy feeling flutter inside of him, a mental smile spreading in him.
He didn't know who this Tighnari person was, he'd just met him— But he felt so close to him. . Maybe that's okay to feel.
Cyno looked forwards to the next day.
