Tears falling

Stephanie POV:
My mouth open. I felt fear. I didn't know what to say I was speechless. "Stephanie how are you going to be kissing two different guys in the same day?! That's what sluts do!" Ben yelled at me as he approached me.He grabbed my arm tightly I already felt bruises forming. Tears started to form in my eye embarrassment ran through my blood mix with fear. "Ben please don't hurt Stephanie I can explain everything just don't do anything wrong." Hayes said raising his voice. Ben shook his head and continued to talk to me as if he never heard Hayes' words. "Stephanie I'm so disappointed in you I thought you were different! Kissing two guys at one day is wrong!" Ben said furiously. He pushed me toward the ground. I fell and it hurt a lot. Tears started to fall down my face. I looked up at Ben scared that my arms started to shake as I tried getting up. But, Ben pushed me back down. I looked up and Hayes got between us. "Please Ben leave her alone." "Hayes I'm not even done talking to her." "Ben I know your upset please leave her alone go back outside just chill out. That's not how you should be treating any girl like this." Hayes said giving Ben a small push. Ben walked away all mad.
Hayes POV:
Ben left all mad. I turn around and helped Stephanie up. "Are you ok?" I asked knowing she's not. She is scared. She was shaking. Stephanie shook her head. Tears kept falling down her eyes nonstop. "Hayes please don't tell anyone... Don't tell my mom... She's happy with him I don't want to ruin her life." "Stephanie we need to tell someone. Mostly your mom she should be the first one to know." I said. I started to get worried for her she can't keep her mouth shut and act like nothing happen. "Hayes you said you were going to be here for me no matter what... I need you right now." Stephanie said right when she finished her sentence a tear dropped. I felt so bad. I hugged her again and this time tighter. "I promise I won't...Just like I said I would be here for you." I let go of her and looked straight at her hazel eyes. "Don't cry anymore... everything will be ok now..." I forced a smile and whipped her tears away.
Stephanie's POV:
Hayes hugged me. I felt so safe when Hayes hugged me. I felt like nothing could hurt me if I'm in his arms. "Don't cry anymore... everything will be ok now..." He said as he whipped off my tears. "I'm going to my room I need to rest after what just happen... Thanks Hayes..." I said walking upstairs quickly. I got to my room and locked the door. I got on my bed and tears came again. Why would he even touch me? He's not even my real father to even call me a slut. But, maybe I was... Things like this ran through my head. I went to sleep with tears in my eyes. I then woke up at 2 in the morning and went to the restroom in my room. I decided to see the parts that formed bruises from what Ben did to me. On my arm I had four purple finger prints left. I raised my shirt up to my rips to find multiple bruises. My vision started to go blurry from all the tears forming. I felt so much pain physically and mentally . I covered my mouth so that I wouldn't make a noise. How did I not see this coming? I pulled my shirt down and looked away from the mirror. I slowly walked toward my bed. I was staring at the wall till it was 5:20 in the morning. I got up and went through my closet. I got a loose long sleeves pastel pink shirt with regular black legging and my brown ugg boots. I braided my hair to my side and got my phone.There were two main reasons why I wore a long sleeve shirt. 1. Today was getting a little chilly. And 2. I didn't want anyone to see my bruises. I was so embarrassed by it. I slowly turn the door knob. I open the door and quietly went down the stairs and made my way out of the house. I took a deep breath once I got out. I started to walk a path I used to walk all the time as a child.
Hayes POV:
I was awake since 5 am because I kept thinking about what happen to Stephanie. I was worried. I got up and put a hoodie some sweatpants and my vans. Around 5:45 I heard someone leave I decided to follow the person just so I wouldn't be lonely. Once I got out and I saw who it was I was for sure going to follow her.Stephanie was walking toward the tree house she showed me. We kept walking the usual path. Until she past the tree house. I was confused I didn't know where she was going but I still decided to follow her. We kept walking for another three minutes till she stopped. I got closed to her. "Stephanie wha-" She cut me off by screaming softly.
Stephanie's POV:
I covered my mouth. "Hayes you scared me don't do that." He chuckled which made smile. "What are you doing our here?" Hayes asked. I pointed in front of me. "I came to see my fathers barn." I said "I just wanted to see if things changed." I turn to look at Hayes. "Can I come?" Hayes said looking back at me. "Sure why not?" I said while I started to walk toward the farm.We finally got to the fence. I turn around and looked at Hayes. "You know how to jump over a fence right?" "You think I'm stupid or something?" Hayes said as I shrugged with a small laugh. "Watch and learn from a pro" Hayes said. He jump over the fence with out hurting himself. "Now the real question is can you jump over this fence." Hayes smiled. "Hayes I use to live here. You have to be stupid to think I can't get to the other side. I've been doing this since I was 8! Learn from the master." I smiled and got to the other side. Hayes softly clapped. "I'm impressed." Hayes and I laughed as we started walking. "You do know we are trespassing right now. This is privet property." I said still walking. Hayes stopped walking. "Stephanie are you serious?" "Why would I be lying about trespassing?" I said look back at Hayes. "Are you serious? This could affect my grades!" Hayes started to panic. "Shh Hayes my dads workers are going to hear us!" "Stephanie we have to go bac-" Hayes was cut off from a gun shot. Our eyes widen I felt frozen my legs couldn't move even though I wanted to go running. "Not today." Hayes said quickly. He grabbed my arm and ran toward the chicken hoop. "Get in get in." Hayes said. We both fit there crowded in with some chickens. It smelled so bad but, I couldn't be caught by my dads workers. A man was passing by the chicken hoop slowly. With a gun in his hand. I covered my own mouth. We waited till he left back to the barn. We got out of the chicken hoop. "Stephanie now we have a chance lets go." Hayes said panicking. "No Hayes I haven't even showed you the fun part." I said as I crossed my arms. "If I get caught I can go to court and this will go on my record. All the collage credits I've been getting will be a waste!" Hayes said. I sighed. "Fine... You could go but, I won't be going..." "Stephanie you have to come back." "Hayes I don't want to go back after what happen yesterday... He might do it again..." It was silent. Hayes didn't know what to say. "Stephanie you need to go back." Hayes said in a gentle voice. I nodded my head. "I will go back but, I just... I want to stay here a little bit more." Hayes nodded his head. "Fine I'll stay here till you decide when to go back." Hayes sighed quietly. I smiled when I heard Hayes' response. "Aww Hayes your such a gentlemen." "I'm only doing it because I don't know the way back" Hayes smirked. "Way to kill the mood." I said as I started walking to were the horses were. I showed Hayes the ones I knew and we looked at the new one. After showing him around more animals we started walking back to the fence. "Let's go it's about to be eight and that's when they start walking up." I said as we almost got to the fence. "Ladies first" Hayes said. I was about to jump over the fence when I hear someone yell. "Don't you dare jump over the fence! You guys just trespass privet property! Put your hands up or I'll call the cops." My legs were shaking as I turn around with my hands up. I looked at Hayes still facing the fence. I looked at the man who just yelled at us. It was my dad relief started to come. "Dad... It me... Stephanie..." I slowly put my hands down. "Stephanie? What are you doing here?" My dad said as Hayes and I started walk toward him. "Dad I brought Hayes here to show him around the barn..." I put my right hand on my left shoulder. My dad didn't say anything instead he came up to me and hugged me and I hugged him back. I didn't feel so relief. It's been so long not hugging my father I didn't want to let go. It was something I haven't experience and a really really long time before he began even drinking. "I missed you so much. Why didn't you tell me that you were coming." My dad said as he broke apart the hug. I shrugged. "I guess I just wanted it to be a surprised." My dad looked at Hayes. "Weren't you the guy in the thanksgiving dinner?" Hayes nodded his head. "Well if you guys just wanted to look around the barn could of just ask" my dad gave Hayes and I a tour. When he finished a and two golden retrievers came up to us. "Dad you never told me you got two other dogs." I said looking at the golden retrievers. "Don't mind them don't you remember of Ace?" I looked up at my dad remembering the flashback to when my dad brought me a 3 week old German Shepard for my 16 birthday. It's been about two years now. "You still have Ace?" I started to get really happy like if I found another piece of me. "I sure do call him like you did as when you were 16." My dad said. I grabbed my bottom lip and whistled. From a little far away you can see a dog running faster then ever barking. "Ace" I whispered. He finally got to me. He seemed so happy I never seen him this happy. "I never seen a happier dog." My dad said. "I missed him so much!" I said getting back up. "Take him." My dad responded. "I can't my mom-" "Stephanie take ace. He's been depressed the past few years. I can't do anything to help him. That's why I got these two other dogs." My dad said. "I guess but, if mom doesn't let me this is the only place that's available." "Just give him a chance." I nodded. My dad handed me a leash. "Thank you guys for coming by come again soon but, you guys should get going before your parents start to freak out." My dad said with a small smile. "I'll come back soon." I hugged my dad and hooked up Ace with the leash and started to walk back with Hayes to the house.
