Hayes and I got back to the log house. When we entered I put Ace in my room so he wouldn't make much noise. When I walked back downstairs I found Hayes looking out the window. "What did you find out the window Grier?" I asked sitting on the couch next to him. "Haha nothing... I was just waiting to see if Will and Nash got here yet but, they haven't." "They'll get here soon. While we wait do you want some coffee Hayes?" I asked getting up. Every morning I'm always drinking my coffee. Yes, I am that one girl who brings coffee to school. Yes I, guess you can call me a coffee freak. "Yeah maybe time will go by faster." Hayes said as we walked to the kitchen. "Wow your really can't wait to see your brothers huh?" I asked as I started to put the coffee in the coffee maker."Yeah... I mean you can't blame me i haven't seen them in a while. Nash has been busy with his social media stuff and Will is always traveling for football." Hayes said as he sat down. "Oh that sucks." "Yeah it was a miracle that they both got to have a break now the brother can be together like the old times." Hayes said. I shook my head and handed him a cup. "I bet it will be fun hanging with all the Griers at once" I said as I got my cup and sat across from Hayes. Hayes chuckled and then looked at me. "We get a little crazy sometimes. My mom told us we should control it now that we are here. She doesn't want us to scare you guys." Hayes said with a smile. I smiled back with a small laugh. "I can see that happening. Your lucky you have siblings. I honestly wish I had some. It sucked being the only child. I was always with Ace most of the time." I said with a sigh and took a sip on my coffee. "Yeah well there are times you wish you were the only child." Hayes said with a small grin. "I wish I could relate Grier... I really do." I shook my head with a smile and looked at my coffee. We sat drinking our coffee for a while until we heard someone going down the stairs. "I hope it isn't Jordan." Hayes whispered. When Hayes turn around his smile went away. " Why is it that I always find you two together? It's 10 in the morning since when have you guys been together?" Jordan said as she walked toward Hayes and sat next to him. "Um... Jordan... do you want some coffee?" I asked. Even though I wasn't for the mood to get up and serve a total bitch a coffee. She's still my guest and I just had to prove her that my mom raised me right. "Please" she said with a demanding voice. I got up and thought to myself. "At Least her mom taught her one nice thing to say." I started to make her coffee. "Hey Nash and Will are here!" I'm going to get my mom so we can help them" Hayes said as he went upstairs. I gave Jordan her coffee and sat across from her. It was quite. But, Right when i was going to say something. But before I could say anything she broke the ice first but with something nice. "Hey this coffee is actually really nice." "Thanks?" I said coming out more like a question then a statement. I was in shock. Was Jordan and I actually going to have a conversation without her bashing at me. " So now that Hayes isn't here now i can tell you what I want." Jordan said looking up to me. My heart dropped. Now she is going to go off on me about me trying to get with her man. "Ok... Go ahead tell me..." I said. "I just wanted to say sorry... I was a total bitch. If Hayes likes you then great he can't be mine forever. The only thing that got me really mad was that he broke up with me because of you." Jordan said looking out the window. I was in shock. "Jordan...I'm in shock and... I honestly don't even know how to respond... I...wow." So many things came to mind. Jordan actually is being mature for once. "I'm sorry Stephanie..." Jordan said as she got up and left. "Wait no Jordan come back." I got up from my chair and followed her to the stairs. When I was going to go up to follow her Hayes came in with his two brothers and a suitcase. When I turned back around towards the stairs I heard the door close and locked. My mom and Hayes' mom came down. They greeted Hayes' two brothers. "Stephanie I want you to meet my two older brother." I turned around and looked. "This is Will the oldest out of us three." He pointed to a tall guy with a buzz cut. He had light brown eyes like his mom. I smiled and greeted him. "And this is Nash. He's that guy who is known in vine." Hayes said pointing to a tall guy long hair and blue eyes that looked like the sky. I greeted Nash and my mom then help them to show them around and so they can settle. It was only Hayes and I down stairs. "So what do you think?" Hayes asked. "They seem pretty chill." I smiled and walked toward the couch and sat. "While I was opening the door I heard you calling for Jordan is everything okay?" Hayes sat next to me. I looked at Hayes. I wanted to ask him why he broke up with Jordan. I hoped it wasn't for me I didn't want to be the reason. "Oh..uh yeah... Everything went fine." I said. It was quiet for a while. "Hayes I need to-" I was interrupted when someone was coming down the stairs. I was right about to ask him about why he broke up with Jordan. We both looked. It was my step dad. I got scared for a second. Everything got awkward. He turn to look at us. I held my breath. I didn't know what was going to happen nothing ever happen like this before. My step dad looked at me and then walked away. I started to breath again when he was gone. I felt like he hated me and I know that he hated me. I got up and headed out. "Stephanie wait. Where are you going." Hayes said. I ignored him. I got outside and it started to get really chilly. It was that time of month when you breath out and you can see smoke comes out. I turned to look back at the house. When I turned back around when I saw the door knob turn. "Hey why did you leave." Hayes said walking up to me. "Hayes you know why... I can't even be in the same room with that man." Everything was quite. I didn't even know what to do. Ever since last night everything changed. Things would get harder with me. I looked at Hayes. "I'm sorry..." "You don't have to be sorry... Nothing was your fault." Hayes said pulling me into a hug. I didn't refuse and hugged him right back. I felt like crying. But, I didn't. I was tired of crying. I felt like crying was mostly everything I've done. "Whoa Hayes get some!" Hayes and I broke the hug apart to see who it was. Nash was at the door giving a smirk at Hayes. I felt my cheeks starting to warm up. I smiled a little and started to walk off to leave Nash and Hayes alone. Before I could even take my third step Hayes grabbed my hand and pulled me back toward him. I looked up to see two crystal blue eyes staring back at mine. "Where do you think your going?" Hayes said in a whisper. "I thought maybe you two would want privacy?" It came out more in a question. "Don't worry Stephanie I'm use to third wheeling. Done it when Hayes and Jordan before." Nash said walking toward us. "But, you wouldn't be third wheeling if were just-" "I know but, in the future when Hayes gets the balls to ask you out." Nash said and patted Hayes on the back. I looked up and saw Hayes making a face at Nash. His cheeks started to turn red. "Is it too cold out or are you blushing?" Nash said joking with Hayes. Hayes looked down in embarrassment. "Aww Hayes I've never seen you blushed this much before." I said laughing and pinching one of his cheeks. "Hey your mom said that there's a really cool lake around here want to show us?" Nash said. "Yeah right now though?" "Yeah why not it could be my first third wheel with you two." Nash said laughing. " I want to come too" Jordan said behind. She had her hands crossed and she didn't seem happy. "Whoa since when have you been here?" Hayes asked. "That doesn't matter... Can I go?" Jordan said waiting for an answer. Hayes looked at me. I guess he wanted me to answer her question. "Yeah you can come. Why not?" I said. I didn't know if I did the right thing or not. I mean in a way I did for letting her come but, then again she seemed pretty mad. I don't know why things changed so quickly. Last night it was normal, this morning it was great and now we are back to normal which, means that she hates me. Jordan came between Hayes and I. She holds Hayes hand and turns to look at me. "Well? Are you not going to show us the way?" I shook my head and started walking. Throughout the whole walk Jordan keep talking to Nash and Hayes and how they all three use to hang out together before Nash got busy. Hayes tried to add me in the conversations but, there really anything I can say. Or if there was Jordan would have cut me off. I tried not to get jealous due to the fact Hayes never let go of Jordan's hand. We finally got to the lake. It was alone like always. "Whoa this is pretty dope" Nash said. Hayes and Jordan went close to the water. "Yeah... I guess..." I said walking close to a big rock. I sat on it and looked at the water. "So you like Hayes?" Nash said standing next to me. I turned to look at Nash. I turned to look back at Hayes. There he was skipping rocks with Jordan. "Honestly... I don't even know... Sometimes he makes me like him because he cares for me... But then.... Then he forgets about me. He would just leave me." I looked down to my shoes. I didn't know why i seemed so hurt. Like its not like we are dating. "Oh..." Nash said playing with a rock on the floor. I guess he didn't have anything to say. I sighed and looked at the sky for a second and back to the ground. It was quiet for a few seconds and all you could hear was Hayes and Jordan laughing. "Well, from the text I have been getting from him. He seems like he's into you." Nash said finally breaking the silence. "What do you mean? I mean I don't agree. Look at him. He doesn't even seem like he's over her." I said. "Well, I don't know i can talk to him if you want me too." Nash said. I shook my head. "It's fine I mean it is what it is." I said pulling my phone out. Nash nodded his head. "Let's go skip rocks." "No I'm good ill stay here on my phone." I answered getting on my Instagram. I was on my Instagram for a while till someone stood in front of me.
