Harry Styles

'So are you guys excited to play here? We've not had an Eighteen Four gig for about a year and a half, you went from 11,000 people to 34,000,  how does that feel?'

'Oh my god it's just amazing. We're so grateful for the love we receive when we come here, and it's always such an honour.' Sydney responded to the interviewer's question, smiling more than ever.

We had to skip soundcheck today for this radio show we were invited on to, but I don't think we minded because it was basically a chance for us to promote ourselves here for free and we never get sick of talking about our music. Sydney was nervous for his interview, but you'd never know because she hasn't stopped smiling since we got here.

'A new thing you guys have been doing, which by the way, we are a massive fan of, is having Harry sing on some tracks. Is this dropping hints for a new record where Harry sings? Tell us about that...and by the way, the chemistry between you guys is insane!'

Sydney was smiling away as the interviewer brought up this topic, so was everybody else because it's the one thing I was so apprehensive about, and somehow it's one of the hosts biggest questions. He mentioned chemistry and everyone nodded, nobody batted and eyelids besides me.

I've felt the chemistry between Sydney and I, I've felt it since we started singing together like this and I didn't know anybody else could. I think that's why this has caught me so off guard. I didn't know it was apparent to anybody else.

'It started at Festival X, right?' Jamie spoke, 'it was obviously really good and everyone loved it, so we had to keep it. Maybe you'll get it on a record but that's up to Harry.'

'He's being stubborn about it, so we gotta say it on the radio so anyone listening can also help convince him to sing.' Myles added through a slight laugh.

'I could be convinced...just maybe not very easily.' I added.

'Boring.' Sydney laughed, 'Everyone listening better help convince him, what's not to want! He's a hot guitar player that can sing! Get him to use his talent! All you Harry lovers out there will benefit hugely!'

'I'll take it.' I chuckled.

'Well I gotta say I am all for it. Let's talk Festival X, you guys broke the record for having the most people attend the Friday night headlining slot. That's just incredible, because am I right in saying it's the biggest in the UK, where you guys are from?'

'Yeah absolutely. We grew up going to that festival as kids and the first time I ever went was when I realised that I wanted to take things seriously in the band. I fell in love with live music there so it was insane headlining it.'

'We used to go all the time when we were kids, seeing people as young as us when we first started going was crazy because you know, I wonder how many people there dream of doing what we do. You get what I mean? It's just mental.' I added.

'And to make such a big, record breaking performance after your relationship publicly ending-'

'Can we keep it to music?' Jamie interrupted the interviewer, diving into Sydney's defence just as I was going to do the same thing.

We knew this would happen. It's the one thing Sydney hates and I don't blame her. It must be frustrating having your past relationship brought up when you're just wanting to talk about your own career. We all know she hates it though, so we were never going to let it happen.

Eventually after half an hour, the interview came to an end. We played a live version of one of our songs for the radio and that was it. We had to rush to the venue for tonight's gig which was due to start in an hour and a half.
