Tam sat in front of the verminion pasture, bathing the fierce little creature for the past 2 hours, lost deep in a sea of whirling thoughts. Sadly, Biana was in most of them.....
~Flashback~
Tam walked into the glittering manor of Everglen, ready to confess his love to Biana after all these years. Just then, he saw Biana, sitting with Keefe beneath a tree, discussing.....something. Yes, they had been close lately but the way they were wrapped in their own tiny world of laughter and sunshine fueled something in Tam. An emotion he had never felt before. Deep and dark, almost swallowing him whole. Reminding himself that Biana had never been this happy around him over and over again, taking over him, taking over every logical thought and emotion, leaving only something raw and dark. Jealousy. Raging with the power of a thousand suns and a thousand seas, racing, racing, racing.....
~flashback over~
Tam felt a tear slip down his face at the reminder of the memory. But what emotion was behind the teardrop? Jealousy? Hurt? Anger? Sadness?
Suddenly, an elf with blonde hair—Sophie glittered near Tam, startling him so badly that he fell off the rock he was sitting on.
"Tam? What are you doing here?" Sophie asked.
"Um.. helping to bathe the verminion,"
"Well, sounds about fair,"
They sat in awkward silence for a while.
"Hey Sophie? Are you okay? You are crying" a crinkle formed on Tam's temples, showing his concern.
"No I'm not fine, Tam. Keefe just cheated on me. How am I fine?
He frowned. "Cheated?"
"Yeah. Now I get why he told me to keep our relationship a secret ."
"Sophie, I—."
"Because if he doesn't, nobody would want to be with him!" She laughed hastily.
Tam sighed. "If there is anything I can do, just hail me, okay?" He waited for her to look at him.
"Okay."

Sophie's pov
She sobbed and cried under the covers of her bed. She refused to eat or drink anything, and did not even care how much of a mess she must be right now.
"If there is anything I can do, just hail me, okay?"
At least someone cared.
So when the tiny square screen clicked open, all she said was "please come over". Then she realized she can just transmit the message. But still, 15 minutes later, Tam glittered onto the pastures of Havanfield. Sophie has never been so happy to see the weird guy with a creepy personality before. After he reached her room, she cried and explained everything . Tam hugged her and let her put her head down on his chest, and gently stroked her back. It took her a second to realize that he was comforting her. And it felt......different. Usually, when anyone else comforts her, that just means bomboarding her with billions of questions and telling her that it's okay. But Tam took her to where the shadows are soothing and peaceful. Like her own, quiet world where she is comfortable. And soon, she fell into the first restful sleep she got for weeks.
Guys. Lemme just say thx for reading, and I'll update more tomorrow. But it is now 12am, so good night and sweet dreams!
