-27- DARRY!

DARRY POV

I left Soda with Pony because I went on a Date with Charlene. She wanted to go to the movies and I agreed.

We were walking home from our date. We were talking about our siblings. She took care of her little brother because their parents moved away 2 years ago.

I was telling her how Soda got engaged with Phoebe 2 days ago. I wont let them marry for 2 years but I was ok with them getting engaged. While we were walking 2 mustangs pulled up.  "Well if it isn't Darrel Curtis."  One said as 9 other socs get out. I stood in front of Charlene. They were walking towards us. "Charlene run!" I whispered. "No I'm not leaving you!" She whispered back. "Charlene please go. Get out of here!" I whispered.

She ran and they surrounded me and began to get closer till I couldn't even turn around. I didn't want to fight I was already tired and had a headache. My head hurt from being so tired. They began whispering. I couldn't hear them but I knew it wasn't good.

Before I knew it I was on the ground pinned by 10 bulky men. I tried to fight them off but I wasn't strong enough. They were kicking me, cutting me, punching me, etc. Then I heard someone yelling. "GET OFF HIM!" They all ran off before I saw Dally looking down on me with everyone.  Everyone but Phoebe and Pony.  Charlene, Steve, Soda, Dally, Two, and Johnny. I only saw them for a second before I blacked out.

JOHNNY POV

We were walking home from the movies when we saw about 10 socs on someone that looked like Darry. "GET OFF HIM!" Dally yelled as we all ran towards him. They all ran out and we looked down to see Darry looking pretty bad off. He then passed out.

Dally tried to pick him up but failed. So each of us helped and struggled to walk home. We laid him in bed and he didn't get up for a few days.

We were all there when we agreed to take him to the hospital. We got in the car and drove to the hospital. They took him back and came out a few hours later. "Darrel Curtis?" We all jumped up from our seats and she walked over with her head down.  "Follow me to his room."  She said and we all followed her.  "I have good news and bad news.  The good news is he's stable.  The bad news is he's in a coma and we don't know when he'll wake up.  Im sorry." 

Darry was in a coma.  He basically was the parent of the group.  Who would take care of Soda and Pony.  Oh god I hope they don't get put in a boys home.  I would lose my mind if they did
