Chapter 7: Im Alive...I Think

Amari's POV
Location: 'Amari's Home'

   I lied in my bed and relaxed my body, still feeling sore. I felt a bit sick as well but not nearly as bad as before. It was almost as if the virus just disappeared.

   Whatever happened I don't think I'm going to turn, so that's a plus. And whatever that virus was it heightened my senses, as shown before, my reflexes have become a lot sharper and quicker.

   I can hear a bit further away as well, but I haven't had a lot of time to experiment as the girls have put me on bed rest. They won't allow me to leave the bed, let alone my room.

   I eventually just gave up and decided to get some more rest, I did only wake up a few minutes ago. And no matter how many times I tried to tell them I felt better they wouldn't believe me.

   I lay one of my arms behind my head and rest the other on top of my stomach, just above my bandage.

   Woah, why are my stats higher, I didn't level up. Was it the title or the achievement. Oh well the stronger I am the better I'll be at protecting the girls.

I shrug and begin to close my eyes.

Time Skip
4:18 pm

Wake up with a yawn and stretch my arms and legs. I stand from the bed and stretch as bit more. I walk over to the bathroom and get ready for a shower, I still stink from all that sweat.

I carefully remove my bandage and notice the bite mark has already begun to heal, that's weird. I got it just yesterday.

I take a shower and carefully bandage it back up. I put on a bra, some boxer briefs, and a black t-shirt. I throw on some shorts and leave the room. I make sure to tiptoe and head to the gym. I do start my workout and make sure to do a few extra sets seeing as how I felt kinda weak earlier.

Once I'm finished I head to the kitchen and drink a bottle of water. I don't see them in the living room and decide to take a seat. I turn on the tv and put on a movie.

Pepper comes over and sits right beside my leg. I rub her head and place a kiss right by her eye. I continue to sit and watch a movie when I hear footsteps coming from the hallway. I look over and see Sherry all sweaty in a sports bra and work out tights.

   She turns to me, a shocked expression on her face, before walking over. "You're supposed to be resting." She growled out as she stood in front of me with her hands on my hips.
