I felt woozy as my breath went ragged. I fell to my knees as my body began to sway. Blood trickled down my arms and chest as I collapsed face first onto the pavement, nothing but darkness followed.

I feel my body twitch as I slowly open my eyes, almost immediately closing them back from the sudden brightness. I let out a groan as the grogginess continued for another minute or so. I tried to sit up when I'm pulled back, the rattling of chains grabs my attention as I look around. I was tied down to a chair with chains wrapped around my chest and my legs. The chains held my arms down against the armrests and my hands seemed to still be bloody.

In fact, I was still bloody and sore, though the ache was bearable. I could feel bandages wrapped around my chest all the way down to my torso. What the fuck is going on? Where am I?

   The last thing I remember is leaving the house. After that is a bit of a blur. Wait, I think I've got it. We left the house to head to the city, something about cores. We had split up and Frankie got into trouble. I feel my heart throb as those red eyes flash back into my brain. The alpha. It was there and it was controlling the other infected, or at least the level 1 zombies.
