Harry wasn't wrong.
My face had been plastered on every single social media site hundreds of times with an abundance of photos from breakfast, so I just decided to stay off of social media for the day. Not like some bogus story came out of it, just 'Harry and Friends Have Breakfast at Local Manhattan Beach Pancake House'. They treated it like it was some breaking news that Harry ate breakfast as if that wasn't a normal thing to do.
The studio session that was scheduled for yesterday had been cancelled, which meant I hadn't seen or spoken to Harry in five days. Normally, not talking to or seeing someone for multiple days didn't phase me, but I found myself annoyingly missing him as the days passed. There were multiple times I picked my phone up and debated sending a message, but easily talked myself out of it. Part of me hoped that when I picked it up I would see his name, how lame is that, but that didn't happen either. Although this was supposed to be a break for him after tour, the meetings and things didn't fully stop, especially with wanting to release his next album in the upcoming year. From what I've seen already, I suppose he may have a little bit of a hard time sitting still.
So now, here I sat, staring at myself in the mirror questioning how I ever got roped into going to a Halloween party, let alone the Casamigos Halloween party in Beverly Hills literally swimming with celebrities. Mitch, Sarah, Dustin and I received last minute invitations as Harry's plus...well...four? Not really sure how that ended up happening since it was supposed to be a pretty exclusive party, but I guess being Harry may have something to do with it. I had originally said I wasn't going, refused really, but we can see how that turned out for me.
The one thing keeping me from hopping in my car and driving as far away from Beverly Hills as I possibly could was knowing that I was going to get to see Harry, but then again those feelings also made me want to hide so I was having one hell of an internal battle here.
"Mi...Sarah, you guys ready? Our car is gonna be here in a few minutes." Dustin's voice echoed from down the hallway, and I took one last look at myself in the mirror. Sarah and I agreed that if we were going, we would do some sort of costume together, so naturally she was the stars and I was the sun. Day and night if you will. Mitch refused to actually dress up so he said he was going as himself, and Dustin dressed like he was in some 2000's punk band.
"Yup, we'll be down in just a second!" I replied, fixing the band of my shiny gold pants as I took in my appearance while Sarah was finishing up in the bathroom. I had gold glitter everywhere, which I'm sure I would regret later, and my makeup was definitely more dramatic than I typically went for, but I had to admit for being a last minute costume it wasn't too shabby. Granted, it was just a white cropped tank and gold pants, but the little sun ray crown kind of brought everything together.

Sarah pranced out of the bathroom with excitement in her eyes, her outfit mirroring mine just silver, her headband holding the stars and moon over her head instead of the suns rays. "I'm so excited that you're coming." I watched as she pulled her sneakers onto her feet, "I mean, normally these kind of parties aren't really my thing, but now that you're here they're going to be so much better."
