You could imagine how confused Charlotte was when she awoke in Remus' Lupin's bed that morning. The last thing she remembered was she was drinking Firewhiskey with Sirius and then she was passed out onto the couch.

She shuffled slightly as she slid out of the bed without waking Remus.

Or so she thought until he moved and opened his eyes slightly.

"Lottie? What are you doing?" He asked before he woke up properly.

"I don't know. Why am I here?" She faked confusion before Remus caught up.

After a while his face morphed into one of realisation. "I'm so sorry about what happened last night with your mother and all. Yes, we saw a small bit of the letter. Are you going to tell anyone about it?"

"Yeah, I'm going to go speak to my brother now. He's usually awake early."

"Okay. Be safe Char."

"I will Rem."

———

"So that's what she said. What do I do Reg?"  Lottie asked worriedly pacing outside the Slytherin Common Room with Regulus.

"Are you sure that is said Evan? Not something like Eva?"

"It wouldn't be Reg. It said Evan Rosier as clear as day. I know he's your friend and such, but he's part of another pure blood family and part of the Sacred 28. Our parents idolise him. What do I do? Do I go back for Christmas?"

"I think you should. Last time Sirius was asked to go home and he didn't, he got brought out of school and apparently," he lowered his voice. "Crucio'd the whole week."

"I'm going to go home then. I can't bear the pain of the spell again."

"Well, good luck. A-and don't die. You know how they're like."

"I'll try, Regulus. I'll try."

Breakfast eventually ended and everyone disappeared to their first lesson of the Wednesday morning. Sirius had a massive headache from the amount of alcohol he had consumed last night with his sister. He laid there for a while before wondering where his sister had gone.

First he checked Moony's bed, startling the sleeping Gryffindor with him leaning over, looking for his sister.

"If you're looking for Lottie, she went to speak to the younger brother of yours, Padfoot. You could've just asked. You didn't have to lean over me."

"Right. Sorry Moony."

And with that, he scurried off, in search of his sister, with the reminder of what the marauders were doing today.

———

"Char! Charlotte! Wait up! Don't go to class! Today's the day!"

"Sirius? The day for what?" Charlotte stopped and walked back to a beaming Sirius.

"The map's creation." He whispered, making Lottie's face light up with joy.

"Well? What are we waiting for? Come on then!" She yelled to Padfoot as she ran back to the common room.

Charlotte ran all the way to the Boys' dorm, banging loudly and repetitively on the door before a tired and half-dressed James answered the door.

"Well, hang on a sec. Me and Moony are still changing Lottie, hold on." He could barely finish his sentence before Charlotte poked her head in to the left and saw Remus.

He was shirtless only with his back facing her until he turned around and Lottie stood there with her mouth agape and a slight blush on her cheeks until he looked at her.

"You okay there Char? You seem a little-"

"No, yeah I'm fine, I'm fine. I'll just wait in the Girls' dorm.

"Yeah. Good idea." James said before closing the door in her face as she walked into the Girls' dorm, stunned.
