4/5 of the Marauders went to tell their favourite Professor, McGonagall, and she excused Charlotte from classes for the week and the rest for half the week to comfort her."Hey." Remus said when he jogged into the Common Room to find Dorcas.
"Where's Lycan?"
"Who?" Dorcas asked. Remus sighed as he forgot that Dorcas didn't know Charlotte's nickname yet.
"Charlotte." He answered.
"Oh! She's in the dorm." Dorcas replied before shrugging and returning to her Transfiguration homework.
"Thanks, Dorcas." Remus answered thankfully as he then jogged up to the girls' dormitory and knocked on the door.
He got a mumbled reply back. "Go away!" To which he then replied to by opening the door.
———
Charlotte felt like shit, to say it plainly. Evan Rosier was an asshole who don't care about others feelings, well at least she thought so.
Ever since the incidence, Lottie had locked herself away in her dorm, only leaving for food when it got low. Honestly, no one could blame her for it, they would've done the same thing in her situation.
However, Remus jogged up to the door, much to Lycan's dismay, and knocked 5 times, the 3rd and 4th knock had a longer gap between them, Remus' signature knock.
He was greeted with a yell from Charlotte. "Go away!" Before he did the exact opposite and came in.
He ended up getting pillows, blankets, books, anything Charlotte could grab thrown at him. All the girl wanted to do was stay in her room.
After she had woken up the next day, she showered 3 times that day but she could not shake the disgusting feeling of the Slytherin boy.
Or her biggest nightmare coming true.
———
"Charlotte, cmon. Please just talk to me. I want to help you get through this but I can't if you keep shutting me out." Remus said to the Gryffindor girl as she faced away from him.
"Lottie?" Remus was tempted to leave at that pout but as soon as he got up from the bed, Lottie turned around and forced him into a hug that she didn't know she was desperately needing.
Remus reacted immediately, with him putting his arms around the girls waist and sitting back down as the girl buried her face in his warm chest.
"It's okay, Lycan. You can cry if you need." One of his hands had reached her back and we was now slowly rubbing it to comfort her.
Charlotte immediately folded and started sobbing now. Remus' words made her feel like she could trust him with anything and everything.
Everything but her biggest problem.
Remus now had lied down with the girl still buried in his chest, but soon enough, she fell asleep. Remus couldn't move.
He was flattered that the girl trusted him so much that she fell asleep on him, but he had to move so that he didn't wake her.
The Gryffindor boy carefully slid her fully onto the bed, covered her with a blanket and gave her a light kiss on the forehead before leaving the girl to rest.
"Oooh, Moony! Where have you been?" Sirius asked as Remus crept out of the girls' dorm.
"Checking on your sister? She's asleep now."
"You sure you're not doing anything else?" Sirius implied.
"No, unlike you and Joe." Remus smirked.
"You bastard." Sirius swore before chasing Remus out of the Common Room and down the corridor, the latter laughing madly.
