[30] DONT YOU DARE

LOUISE POV:

I woke up feeling nervous. This was the day. I was going to meet my parents and I am very nervous. What if they don't like me?

I got ready and chose an outfit for today. Charles got ready after me and we ate breakfast with his friends, Pierre, Arthur. Just quick tough, but Carlos was taking a bit longer, so we needed to wait for a little bit. 

We all went to the paddock together and I went with Charles. With 2 interviews and then he had 2 sessions of free practice. They went well and he got pretty good positions. P4 and P2. After FP2 I went to the AlphaTauri garage, Pierre was in his normal clothes, because he didn't drive and we drove together to our parents house. Pierre looked a little nervous, less then me tough. I was freaking out at this point.

'What are you nervous for Pierre?' I asked

PIERRE POV:

'Oh nothing, just excited to see them again.' 

Defenitly not excited, but I don't want to scare Louise away even more. I get flashbacks to this morning.

"WHY IS MY SON NOT RACING HIS HOME RACE" 

"He is injured m'am, he needs to be fit to race again." one of my engineers said. I was sad they don't have much to do this weekend for me, but luckliy Ollie was here and I am not worried that he is going to have a bad race, because he is doing great.

"THAT IS NOT MY POINT WHY IS NOT RACING HIS HOME RACE AND WHY IS HE INJURED" My mom shouted again. I am so embarressed of mom, that I am not even going to face her. That would be too akward, but I needed to ask her something, so I didn't really had a choice. 

"Mum please calm down, I will race next week don't worry" I said. 

"AND WHY ARE YOU NOT RACING THIS WEEKEND THEN" She said. My mom always had this temper, especially when she drank.

"Because I was injured and I just came out of the hospital" 

"Why didn't you tell me then? Huh?" She said

"Because I knew you were going to react like this and I wasn't ready for that!" I said back

"You know you need to tell me everything right? I am you're mother" Oh no, not this again. I am just going to ask what I wanted.

"I actually wanted to ask you about something, is it okay if I bring someone with tonight?" 

"And who is this someone? I don't want strangers in my house" 

"You will see when we get there. She is definitly not a stranger." I said

"Well I will see then, but remember no strangers and no other girls." My mom said

'Pierre are you okay? You aren't answering my questions' Louise brought me back to reality.

'Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking' I said

We arrived at our parents house and we stepped out of the car together. I wonder what is going to happen.

'Bonjour maman et papa' I said while walking in. Louise walked beside me.
