XVII Put a little love on me

"Jungkookah quit drinking; you're already too intoxicated! Let's have fun," Taehyung says, who is nudging me to dance with Hoseok.

Once more, we are at Club 8.

I'm drinking for my heartbreak.

"Oh my God, look who's here!" I make a U-turn and face Taehyung's direction.

The fact that Jin is with the man from four years ago surprises me. With the man's arms around him, he is cheerfully conversing with Jin, and Jin appears to be giggling at each of his "friend" words.

Jin, I couldn't believe you. You are Not What You Seem. You are a family man by day and a single man looking for fun at night. I'm thinking out loud.

I observed Taehyung approaching them as he hugged Jin and shook hands with the man. Taehyung gave Hoseok the go-ahead sign to come to them. Hoseok was introduced to Seokjin's date by Taehyung, who gestured toward me. Both the man and Jin gave me an oblique glance. I lift my glass to them as a sign of acknowledging their presence. Jinnie grinned, and the other person smirked at me.

What with the fuck, he smirked at me like he was taunting me. Get a grip jk! I reminded myself.
I don't want to cause a scene.

I drank another glass of whiskey. This is my sixth glass. I went to the restroom to relieve myself. While I was washing my hands, I saw from the mirror that Seokjin's friend had entered the room. He was staring at me, so I asked him if there was anything I could do for him. "Nothing; I was simply reminded of Jin's story about how you had accused him of flirting with me four years ago. It is a coincidence that we have met again," he stated while sneering at me.

Since we are already here he initiated the topic. I might as well ask him why he is dating Jin. It's now or never, jk, so I encourage myself.

This is amusing the last time I saw you with Jin. That's the reason we initially fell out; It's going to cause another rift between us that you're with Jin again. But since you're here and it involves you, I can't help but wonder. Why not ask the question I've been chewing on all day? What makes you date Jin? Do you not realize that he is married and has a child? Come on, I have been in love with jin for a long time, but I didn't try to seduce him so I could be with him. I know my place and I love him so much that I just want him to be happy even if it's not with me. Please don't ruin his relationship with his wife.

"Wow, Jungkook, back off! I can now see why Jin was so offended at the time. Why don't you ask Jin directly before you say anything more that you'll later regret?"

"We haven't been introduced to each other formally yet, but I just wanted to let you know that I like your boldness. But when it comes to telling Jin about your feelings, you are like a chicken."

He patted my back and winked at me.

I fail to grasp what he is trying to say. Jinnie may be pissed off with me for calling out his date, but I said what I said and don't care.

After adjusting myself and taking a few breaths in and out, I left the restroom.

When I returned to my seat at the bar, Taehyung was en route to the DJ's booth. The song shifted to a mellow one after a few minutes.

After getting tapped on the shoulder, I looked up to see Jinnie standing next to me. "Jungkook, may I have this dance?"

I sputtered and turned to face Taehyung. He is now seated next to Jin's date and Hoseok. I'm not sure why they're all laughing, but they seem to be.

I learned that you are in love with me from Architect Hyung. Do you mean it, Jungkook?"
