The room was warm, just how I remembered it being, along with the somehow strong aroma of alcoholic substance. My arms ached from the constant position of being propped up on my chin, my legs and feet both trembling from the long walk down here. I really wasn't sure how to gather the concept of my return to this area of the academy, other than Xavier's portentous ideology.

Sure I knew this was possibly the best thing to do, but I didn't want to. I was scared, not only for me but for everyone else. If telling the principal of the school what I was here for was to tell her I could potentially, down the line, doom them all— than I guess he was right. She did need to know, but I didn't know how to say it.

"what brings you two here?" she inquired, her arm resting on the fireplace in the same position she stood in earlier. "especially at this time in the day" she added, raising a curious brow. I knew she was annoyed at my arrival, let alone the boy who previously set a bad reputation for the school amongst the board. It was also currently just after eight in the evening, another cunning reason why she'd be pissed.

Me and Xavier stood in silence, a look of desperation etched onto our faces as we looked between ourselves. Trying to get the other to speak forward. The increased amount of nerves I was currently feeling was an indication this could have waited, the last encounter I'd had with the blonde only making this situation more difficult.

Neither of us budged however, even my best friend being glued to his spot. His feet stayed still in his dark black boots, his hands resting on his sides, and his brown hair dangling down by his shoulders. I however looked a lot more uncomfortable— my arms were crossed, my eyes fixed on the ground, and my face pale as a ghost. It wasn't as red and flushed as usual in this room, the nerves taking over and replacing the commonly felt sensation.

"well?" Principal Weems huffed, glaring between our figures in her office. She was already impatient, sighing once we'd still failed to give her a response. I could feel Xavier's dark eyes glued to me, his sense of awkwardness somehow getting lower. He was less nervous than me to a degree. Getting comfortable with her in our way. Manipulation. I ignored the ring in my ears at his look of confusion towards her, tilting my head half down to look at my slippers I'd placed on my feet.

The blonde woman moved closer to us, but not before placing what I could only of assumed to be whiskey, down on her desk. Her hips swayed unintentionally on her short pace towards us, her chest looking rather large in comparison to the normal daylight angles. I suppressed my cheeky grin, keeping up with my scared and fragile demeanour.

"if no one speaks, I simply am unsure as to why you're here" she remarked, turning her head to the side as she looked only at me. Not him, but me. She was eyeing me, staring me down in an expression filled with pure rage and intimidation. "y/n" for fuck sake. "she needs to speak with you" Xavier spoke up, looking my way, a deep breath followed by a gulp of nerves soon following suit.

Larissa turned my way once again, admiring me secretly but not letting the anger go within her. Her blood still clearly boiling from our earlier conversation. "do you now?" She cooed, raising a brow at me as her red lipstick pursed up along with her soft lips. A plump grin appearing instantly. "about what" she stated, her hands clamped firmly together just above her hip bones.

Her posture was simply intoxicating, I didn't matter how hard I tried to fight the sensation. I couldn't. I lifted my head up, her silhouette casted in front of the beaming fireplace in too much anticipation for my confession. I fumbled on my words, stuttering a little at the start of my sentence. This confession is going to kill me. That thought alone was agonising, my body trembling just as the feeling crept into my mind and body. I was about to admit something ever so taunting; something that was almost impossible to believe.
