Aonungs POV:
We finished up the first lesson with the Sully's just before eclipse, and everyone was exhausted so we went back to our families.
"Why aren't you being nice to them?" Tsireya questioned me, even though she was used to me not being nice to people. I didn't answer the question immediately, "Because, they are related to the sky people! The people who ruin Pandora, and all of the clans." I scoffed. The thought of the sky people made me sick and angry.
"That is not by choice Aonung. And even so, they are still Navi, even if it isn't fully, they still have our blood." Tsireya protested with a frown. I just ignored her rolling my eyes. I didn't like disrespecting my family, especially my sister but I just couldn't see me being able to like them due to their imperfections that impacted how I view them.
Me and Tsireya entered our hut and noticed dinner set out. "My son, my daughter, welcome home." My mother spoke with a warm smile. "How did the lessons go with the Sully children?" My father questioned us. I looked at Tsireya hoping she'd answer.
"It went okay. They definitely need more, for they aren't very educated and experienced." She frowned. My father nodded. I ate my dinner in silence listening to the conversations that happened around me.
Once I had finished I cleaned up after myself and headed out. "I'm going on my walk ma. I'll be back soon." I spoke to my mother as she walked around the hut. She nodded and went on with her tasks.
I headed towards a rocky area far from all the huts and anybody so that nobody could catch me here. I sat and looked at the purple and pink skies. I was so pissed at my new forced lifestyle. 'I could be expanding my knowledge to be a warrior, but instead I had to focus on these demon children.' I rolled my eyes at that thought.

Neteyams POV:
I sat in my hammock and stared at the sky counting the stars in boredom. It was nice and quiet until my mother came into my room. "My son, please go get more fruit for us, for we have nearly ran out. I would do it but I'm really busy with Kiris hair." I understood, and walked out. I scanned the village to see if I could spot any tall trees, that usually had yovo and other fruits hanging in them.
Once I spotted it, I started walking towards it. As I walked I had seen someone familiar from afar. I walked closer to the navi and I couldn't really see. It was Rotxo. "Hey, Rotxo!" I yelled out to him.
He looked back at me and was confused. "Um... hey!" The short teal navi spoke in an awkward tone. "You don't have to be awkward, I just wanted to walk with you." I reassured him smiling. He looked back up and me and looked more calm.
We talked until I got to the trees. "Alright we'll I'm gonna go now, bye Neteyam...was it?" Rotxo asked nervously stretching the back of his head. "Yeah, it's Neteyam, and I'll see you" I replied with a slight smile.
He walked away and I looked up at the tall tree. I saw a collection of yovo at the top. Yes! I walked up to the tree and started to climb it.
As I stepped foot onto the tree, I almost instantly felt homesick. I missed my people. I tried to shake the feeling off, but it was hard.
I continued climbing the tree, using the bumps as steps. As I reached the top I sat on the branch and looked at the horizon. I loved the view. I picked the fruit and counted 4.
I sat up in the tree for a while staring out into the ocean. How the sky reflected onto the waters surface put me in awe.
I then slowly got down, being careful with the fruit and headed back. As I was walking , I had noticed another familiar Navi. I looked closer and saw it was the tall teal navi. I couldn't know if I actually liked him or not due to this morning.
I had stared at him as he looked like he was walking back from somewhere as well. I lost my gaze and continued heading home, thinking nothing of it.
As I got to my hut, I saw my mother. "Here ma, this is all I could find." I passed the 4 large fruits. She smiled at me, "Thanks Neteyam, this is great." She placed the fruit in a woven bowl.
Then I noticed she was eyeing my hair. "What is it ma?" I asked curiously laughing gently. "Come boy, I need to re-braid your hair." I rubbed the back of my head and followed her outside and we sat down just out the front of the hut. My feet were in the water and my mother sat behind me redoing some braids within my hair. "So, my son, how was training?" She questioned me
"They were okay mama." I replied "Lo'ak is just having troubles." I laughed softly. "You must make sure he doesn't cause any trouble, keep an eye on him for me." My mother spoke placing her hand on my shoulder. Quickly, she went back to braiding.
We continued to talk until she was finished. "I added some new beads, I had been gifted by the elders today." She spoke admiring my hair. "Thank you mama." I said hugging her. "Now, son go rest." I walked away and went into my room
I got into my hammock and looked up at the ceiling. I observed the details it had. I wasn't used to the Metkayina way in weaving so looking at the roof had make him appreciate it. 'So beautiful.' I thought to myself. Unknowingly, I had been admiring the roof for a pretty long time, and had slowly drifted to sleep comfortably.

Yay I am finished, I hope you all don't mind a slow burn because this is gonna be quite the slow burn I can't lie 😭, I don't even like writing slow burns it's just easier to put into a plot, and more realistic.
