Neteyams POV:
A couple days went by, nothing unusual happened. It was just boring days in training. Hopefully we will be done soon, since everyone is doing pretty well. Especially Lo'ak.
But during these days, one thing just couldn't come off my mind. I focused more on him, and thought about him way more often. It was Aonung.
I kept thinking of his voice, his looks, basically anything you can think of. I had no idea why, he was just always there in my mind. It had gotten to a point where I was so awkward around him, it was embarrassing just to even talk to him.
I woke up this morning with nothing to do. So I walked to my tree and climbed to the top. I sat there for a good hour just admiring the sky. I had then noticed the freshly grown fruit inside the tree. So I pulled them out carefully and climbed down.
With the fruit in my hands I started to walk back to my hut. As I got there I was greeted by Tonowari and Ronal, both talking to my parents. They turned and saw me. "I see you Neteyam." They both gestured. I did it back and put the fruits in a basket on the floor. I listened into the conversation.
"Ronal and I, we are very impressed with how you have been able to fit in. You are truely worthy."
"Yes, and due to your impressive history here, we would like to invite you to lunch with our family."
"Me and Jake would love that, Ronal, Tonowari. Thank you. We will be there."
They all kept talking until the Metkayina parents left the hut. I was then met with my father. "You heard, boy?" My father asked. I nodded. "Alright, please go make your siblings aware so they are prepared." He ordered and pointed out the hut.
I was looking for my siblings as saw that they were all together with Tsireya and Aonung, so I walked to them and greeted them all. "Hey guys," I spoke, then looked towards my siblings, "Mother says for you to get prepared for a lunch with Tonowari and Ronal's family."
A smile appeared across Tuk's face. "Really? Yay! I'm so excited!" She stood up and jumped around excitedly, holding Kiri's hands. "Come on! Come on!!" She started to drag Kiri and ran towards the hut.
Me and Aonung stood still as everyone walked, once they were further down, Aonung started walking and I walked on his side. "Did you know about this?" I smiled at him. He nodded in response, not smiling back.
It felt weird that he didn't smile back. But why? I shook the thought away and continued walking to my hut. It was quiet. Too quiet. But I didn't want to break the silence because it felt as if he liked the silence.
Once I got there me and Aonung separated and I walked into my hut where my family was rushing around getting ready and making food. "Mother, do you need help?" I asked, she shook her head and I went into my room to get ready.
I noticed some braids were loose, so I quickly redid them and added some pearls I had found prior the lunch.
I put on my necklace I made that represented the similar necklace the Olo'eyktan of my clan wore. It covered my neck, almost fully.
I tucked my braids behind my ear and walked out to see everyone sit down ready for lunch. The Metkayina family had already arrived and I greeted them, apologising about my late appearance.
I looked over to Aonung to see him talking to Tuk, and she seemed so happy. I couldn't help but smile.
"Neteyam!" Tuk looked over to me and so did Aonung. He noticed I was staring and I quickly looked away, embarrassed. "TukTuk." I say softly, hugging the short Navi.
Tuk grabbed my hand and lead me to where everyone was. I sat down next to Lo'ak and the lunch went on.
Through out the lunch, I had gotten a few clear glances at Aonung, and he only looked at me once or twice. He was very talkative with Tuk. They seemed to bond very well. That made me happy.

Aonungs POV:
I was at a lunch with Toruk Makto's family and it was going well. As I arrived I noticed Neteyam wasn't there. There was a gut feeling I had that made me sick. I hoped he would be there.
As I sat down with everyone, Tuk sat besides me. "Hello!" She glanced over to me with a smile. "I like your hair!!" Tuk then placed her hand on my hair and felt the curls. "It's so smooth! How do you keep it so smooth?" She was curiously asking, with a big smile. I chuckled a little before I replied "it's all natural, thank my mother!" I smile looking over at her.
My focus then went back to Tuk and she continued to ask more questions about my hair. I answered them and we had a good laugh.
Then, as me and Tuk where talking she stopped talking and looked forward. "Neteyam!" She shouted running up the the boy. I felt instantly relieved that he was there, and noticed he was staring at me.
A feeling shock through my body. I don't know what it was but I kept a straight face, all though my body was bursting with emotion. When he quickly looked away, so did I.
The lunch went on, and I had a few glimpses of Neteyam as he ate. He seemed to eat in very small portions, he was very polite.
On the other hand, his brother are less pleasantly which made me laugh. "What are you laughing at?" Lo'ak asked with a smirk, food surrounding his mouth. I placed my hand on my forehead and sighed with a slight smile. "Oh nothing." I reply sarcastically.
He laughed, and continued eating. Once everyone was finished we had all helped clean while the parents were talking.
"Children, you can all go do something outside if you'd like." Neytiri had spoken to the group , with a smile. We agreed and all walked over to the shallow waters again.
