Lo'aks POV:
I was furious. I stood up for my sister and my father is still disappointed? What did he want me to do? Just stand there and watch it happen?
My father had told me to apologise to Aonung, and as much as I didn't want to, I had to follow his orders.
I jumped into the water and called for my ilu. Once he came, I hopped onto him and set on my way to find Aonung.
I looked everywhere, until I finally saw him and his friends on ilus with hunting equipment. I was so embarrassed to go up to them, but it had to be done.
"What's tree boy doing here?" One of the boys moaned. I ignored the comment briefly. I came close to Aonung so he could hear me over the light waves. "I'm sorry I hit you." I paused. "So many times." I continued sarcastically.
It was a while before Aonung had replied. He looked towards his friends that had smirked at him. "Ah." Aonung broke the silence. He let out his hand. "We should be friends." I was reluctant but shook his hand.
"Come hunting with us." Aonung spoke again. "Out side the reef." A feeling shook through my body, because I know I'm forbidden to do so. "It's where the men hunt." Aonung smiled.
I loosened the grip we held. "No way, I'm not allowed." Before I finished the sentence Aonung fully let go of my arm. "I must be asking the wrong brother!" He looked over to his friends. I hated that. "Let's do it." I said confidently. Aonung handed me over a crossbow letting out another "Ah!".
The 4 of us made our way to the Three Brothers Rocks crossing heavy waves, hopping in and out of the water.
Once we had gotten to the Three Brothers Rocks, all of our ilus resurfaced and I was excited. "That was insane cuz!" I yelled over to Aonung. "This way, I know a good spot." He spoke back, smirking at his friends. They dove into the water, and shortly after I did too following them.
As we got to the spot, still underwater, Aonung looked over to me. "Call to the fish." He signed. So I did, even with barely any practice.
I kept calling to the fish until I felt as if it were the correct time to shoot. And when I did, I had perfectly shot one. I felt victorious. I turned over to see Aonungs approval with a smile.
Suddenly my smile faded away. They were all gone. Where did they go? Did they leave me? Fear spread through my body. I called for my ilu and swam up to the surface. "Hey guys!" I screamed over the ocean. "Hey?" I yelled filled with worry.

Neteyam's POV:
I had been up in my tree for the main part of the day, until it was nearly time for dinner. I had walked over to my hut. There was no sign of my father, Kiri or Lo'ak. I was confused.
I went up to my mother, and she could see my confusion. "Your father is out talking to Kiri." She explained, but then she looked confused. "I thought Lo'ak was with you?" She questioned me worriedly.
"Nope, I haven't seen him since the fight." I mumbled. "I'll go find him before dinner." I spoke to her as she nodded her head, still anxious.
I walked out the hut, and started looking for Lo'ak. "Baby bro?" I shouted. I walked all around the village asking everybody if they had seen him.
Then I had walked past Aonung. All though I was furious at him, I went up to him to question him where Lo'ak was since he had to apologise to Aonung.
"Looking for someone?" His friend teased me. Then it hit me. He knew where Lo'ak was. I demanded that they told me where he was. "Where is he? Aonung?" I was worried. "He is out past the reef all by himself" Aonung yelled confidently. I couldn't take my anger any longer. I grabbed his braid and dragged him to my father.
"Tell him what you told me!" I yelled pointing to my father, still gripping tightly onto his braid, until he knocked my hands off. He looked down in embarrassment. "I have left your son out past the reef..." he mumbled. My dad looked shocked. "Finish the sentence." I pushed him. "...by himself." Aonung's ears quickly went down.
A search party had been set to find Lo'ak. I was worried sick. What if he was hurt? What if he was... I hit my head at that thought, I didn't want to imagine my sibling like that.
Suddenly a horn blew and young girl shouted "The boy has returned!" A sudden relief flew over my body. I stood in the crowd as I saw Lo'ak appear onto the net path, the crowd staring at him.
My father ran up to Lo'ak, seeing if he had any injuries. "He's fine.. he's fine.." my dad whispered in worry. "Just a few scratches!" He assured the crowd.
My mother quickly parted through the crowd, rushing to her son. "I pray for the strength that I do not pluck the eyeballs out of my own son!" She hissed.
"No." Tonowari interrupted. "My son knows better then to take someone outside the reef." He placed his hand on Aonungs back and he kneeled down. "The blame is his."
A short silence filled the crowd. "Okay... let's go." My father mumbled. "No." Lo'ak protested. "This is not Aonungs fault." I looked over to Aonung to see his face filled with confusion. "This is my idea." Lo'ak continued. "Aonung tried to talk me out of it. Really." He untruthfully spoke.
I saw Tonowari look at Ronal. You could tell that they didn't buy it at all. "Come on." My dad sighed. "Lo'ak!" My mother hissed.
Lo'ak, my parents and I walked off from the crowd to talk to eachother individually. "Dad, you told me to make friends with these kids. That's all I was trying to -" my dad cut him off, obviously furious. "I don't want to hear it."
Lo'ak looked at him. "Dad.." he mumbled. "You brought shame to this family." The words spoken out of my fathers mouth seemed to make Lo'ak upset. He looked down. "Can I go now?" Looking back up at my father. "You cause anymore problems I jerk a knot in your tail. You read me?" He spoke firmly. "Yes sir." Lo'ak replied. He walked away, annoyed.
My mother turned to me. "Where were you?" She questioned me. "What happened to keeping an eye on your brother?" My father added. I nodded, "sorry sir."

Aonungs POV: (short)
My parents had finished lecturing me, so I walked off to Lo'ak. He was walking away, towards his hut. I touched his back. "Why did you speak for me?" I was confused. We kept walking, and he looked my direction. "Because I know what it's like..." he paused for a little, "to be one big disappointment." I stopped hearing those words and laughed. Maybe Rotxo was right...
