Five's POV

Luther stood up and walked, but I followed him and pulled him to the side.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Luther? I just told you the world's gonna end in ten days,"

"Yeah, well you're always saying that,"

"That was eight days ago,"

"A year and eight days,"

"Sorry. But so far I've been right,"

"Look, you wanna save the world. Do it with Z. I bet she'll help. Where is she?"

"I don't know. We had an argument and she stormed off,"

"What did you say?"

"That you guys weren't her family," I answered, lowering my head.

"You what? Holy shit Five! You know what, I'm out. You can figure this out on your own," Luther grumbled, walking off.

I stood there before I walked over to the bar. I ordered another drink, but the bartender gave me a Shirley Temple.

"How cute," I murmured.

The bartender smiled, and I just drank the Shirley Temple. I thought to myself about my fight with Z, and I felt horrible. I got up and left when my pocket on my blazer ripped. I looked at it and pulled a tape out. I looked at it and remembered when Hazel was shot. He must have snuck it in before I blinked away with Z. I walked out of the bar and headed back to Elliott's place.

The next day

"Elliott, did you develop these photos yourself?" I asked, inspecting pictures of my family.

"Can't exactly drop that stuff off at the neighborhood Fotomat. Government has eyes everywhere. And where's your sister?" Elliott asked.

"We had a fight,"

"Oh, ladies suck when they get into fights, am I right?" Elliott asked.

"I didn't see a darkroom," I sighed, dodging the question.

"Yeah, I converted the hallway closet,"

I pulled the tape out and crossed out the date. If Elliott saw it was from the future he would get suspicious, very suspicious.

"Can you develop this?" I asked, handing the tape to him.

"Hmm? Huh. Frankel Footage. 'Freinds of yours'?" he asked.

"Cousins on my robot mother's side. Can you do it or not?" I answered.

"Sure I can,"

"How long?"

"Well, I mean. I'm running low on acetic acid. Beeker's Cameras is open today, but it is two miles away. I mean, I'd have to take the bus. On the other hand, Gibson's is only ten blocks away, but I gotta cut through the park and there are pigeons..." Elliott rambled on.

"Elliott," I scolded.

"It's like five, maybe six hours,"

"Attention all units, we have a code 3-15 at the Holbrook Sanitarium," a man on a nearby radio stated.

"What the hell is a code 3-15?" I asked.

"Mmm. Fugitives on the run,"

I walked over to the radio and turned it up.

"Twenty-five patients still at large. Many are considered armed and dangerous,"

"Oh, Diego..." I whispered to myself.

"Oh. Who's Diego?" Elliott asked, coming up to me.

"Imagine Batman. Then aim lower. You get started on that film. I'll be back as soon as I can," I sighed, walking into the kitchen.
