3 Years Later...

It was tough moving on without Taya, but they knew that they had to get out of their prison. Of course, Ochaco is now 13 and Emily is 12 and have gone through the processes called puberty and periods. Though, they don't really know what those were and panicked cause they thought they were bleeding out. The boys are also 12 and Joshua's going through the lovely awkward years. Daniel isn't cause he don't speak. So, Overhaul had to explain puberty and all of that to the poor kids. They have been planning their escape throughout these years, the progress hasn't been that great, but they're moving forward.

"Now, what do you guys think?" Joshua asked, hoping for a good reaction from the group.

"..."

"What. Is this?" Emily asked, her face full of disgust.

"It's the perfect plan!" Joshua argued, slamming his fist on the floor.

"The floor..." Ochaco mumbled, earning a pat on the back from Daniel.

"How is this a perfect plan?!" Emily exclaimed, glaring at her cousin.

"We need some type of distraction!" Joshua argued, crossing his arms.

"I know that!" Emily sighed, rubbing her eyes. "But it's never going to be believable that we suddenly went blind!"

"Then we play the long game!" Joshua exclaimed, throwing his fist into the air with a grin.

"We've been playing the long game!"

"Playing the long game includes having a plan," Ochaco said, picking up a grape from her plate, "which is something we've never had."

Emily grumbled while Joshua grin at her smugly.

"I think the components are all here," Ochaco smiled, throwing the grape into her mouth, "but they're not planned well."

Joshua sobbed in his 'Sob Corner'.

Crreeeaaaakkkkk!

The group glanced towards the door opening. It had been a few weeks since the last time one of them got injected. A guard looked at the group huddled together with his piercing hazel eyes, glancing at Joshua for a split second.

"#1"

Everyone turned to Ochaco. They couldn't see it, but she was staring at the guard. He stared back, his eyes somehow becoming darker. He put his hands behind his back, a warning. Ochaco nodded before turning back to her friends.

"I'll be back before you know it," she told them, a small smile on her face. "Just continue the game without me."

She stood up and followed the guard down the dreaded hallway.

[Ochaco POV]

Alright, there are 10 doors after and before our room which makes 11 doors on each side. I'm pretty sure that all of them are rooms like ours to throw off any intruders and give Mr. Overhaul and his men time to kill them. Then there's the split up ahead. It's a 5 way split and we've only ever gone to the far right. This hallway is a dead end and has no doors besides the one to the lab. Of course, Mr. Overhaul could have a secret exit at the end of this hallway to throw anyone off. He's too smart and he actually knows the whole layout of this place! That sucks for us, but we usually gain more information every time we come out. Too bad we usually pass out before we could see the way back...
